Got my ticket switched to tomorrow. Hope they are back. Box office said they got word about 11am today.
That sucks, but did this need to be an entirely new thread?
How does this threads presence on the Internet have a negative effect on you?
Yikes. Hoping this won't be the case next Wednesday evening.

I posted this because it is a new development and I wanted to alert those attending in the next few days to call Telecharge the day of show to check. The box office said they believe Cynthia is sick. Refunds and exchanges are offered if any of the three leads are out.
"
Makes sense.
the cold weather is going to start it's domino effect on Broadway. Expect u/s slips to be somewhat common the next two months.
BTW, any idea who's playing Celie (& Sofia)?? It's either Bre Jackson or Adrianna Hicks for Celie & Carla Stewart or Carrie Compere for Sofia.
Bre is on for Celie tonight.
Carrie is on for Danielle

Weather doesn't make you sick. People do.

Yes. These are two leads in a very high profile revival- the fact they're both out the same night is inherently "news." I'm sure their reasons are legitimate, but that doesn't make it less news worthy.

I just got home from tonight's performance. It was wonderful. Both subs did a phenomenal job. Bre Jackson was incredible. Carrie Compere was also very good. So glad I got to see these incredible ladies. It also gives me a reason to go back and see the original leads. Sorry I missed this show originally.
I'm really hoping Cynthia is back tomorrow. I'm really seeing it for her, though I know I'll be happy with the cast either way.

Me, too. I'm going that night as well.
yes, people make other people sick. However, the cold weather lowers people's immune systems, thus making them more susceptible to getting sick.
According to the box office everyone is back tonight!

Thank goodness! I've had my ticket for tonight for a few weeks and the only reason I bought tickets was to see Cynthia. I'm usually very encouraging and happy to see understudies but I'm happy I get to see Cynthia.
Whew! So glad we (at least for now) have a full cast in. I'll be first row on the aisle and I can't wait.

Oh yeah, one other thing, they are checking bags and taking food away from people. Do not show up with dinner leftovers. They will take it from you.
