I've got a petition to get a commercially produced DVD of Taboo On Broadway. I noticed and was happy to discover I'm not the only person on this forum who misses the show and would love to have a commerically produced DVD of this show. So, check out the petition and sign it. Get your friends to sign! We want Taboo to keep and relive the magic.
Yes, the OKLAHOMA! DVD of the Royal National Theatre production is outstanding and well-made. While I did see the show itself in London in 1999 at the Lyceum, I was elated to revisit the show in its original RNT home via this filmed production.
Radiogal-As much as I wish your petition could work, im sorry but its not possible to release a DVD of the Broadway Taboo. It was never filmed(except for maybe Lincoln Center but those arent available for commercial release). Since there is no recording of it, there is so possible way for it to be released. Trust me, I wish it is possible but its not.
geri loves wicked- they have made a DVD of sweeney todd with george hearn as sweeney (and the london cast). they released it a few years ago but then stopped selling it. but they have recently started selling it again. im sure u can find it on ebay or somewhere in NYC.

"There's a butt naked princess, lounging in a bed, calling your name. What exactly didn't you realize? Before our wedding night, pack up some of that dried monkey meat and have the royal cartographer draw you a map of the female body, captain. Maybe then you'll be more inclined to come explore!"
