I don't think the CZJ Tony was bought. But I do think that the voters cast their vote based on sex appeal and star quality. But I also think that the only competition CZJ had was from Montego Glover. And poor Montego had to spend half her performance compensating for a co-star who was acting like a half-wit rather than playing the character.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I agree that her biggest competition was Montego. I also think Montego should have been awarded.

I had figured the awards wanted the buzz of a Hollywood presence winning, regardless of it was deserving. I don't think it was "bought". I think it was advertising.

I thought Montego's acting was pretty wooden. I only recall her having some strong vocals. Man, I really thought MEMPHIS was such an awful show.

She was very good on Smash where she had to say things like "He is over here, but he is supposed to be there" and "Now he's over there, but he's supposed to be over here."

I just laughed out loud. I didn't watch one second of the second and final season of SMASH.

That was SOOOOO AWFUL! I haven't seen a second of the show since its pilot. And for damn good reason, jeez.

As for Montego, no way she should have won. I thought she was fine in the role but she was lacking the "wow" factor that Huey seemed to see in her. I thought she had a good voice, but nothing that'd make me stop in my tracks like he did.
