I can't help but agree with that statement.

Dee has personally grown on me a lot, that being said I have yet to see her live but from listening to her over the past few years she really has improved immensely and I am quite excited to see her 2 weeks!
I also love her "No Good Deed." The one from closing night in Chicago... amazing!!
You see, even though I can't stand Dee's Elphaba... I am still jealous you get to see the show in 2 weeks haha. Have fun! :)

But, Jennifer DiNoia... I just can't get myself to like her voice. I saw the show on May 21st with Nicole, Jennifer went on May 20th... I'm very happy I saw Nicole.
I much preferred Jennifer DiNoia over Nicole. I guess to each his own :P
I prefer Jennifer's voice over Dee's. I really like Jennifer's voice, but i see her more as a Nessa.

Same, what I should have wrote is: I don't like her voice for the role of Elphaba.
this news is about as intersting as her defying gravity. id rather not have her performing at th production i go too. lol. but i guess she did get jipped in chicago since her run wasnt officially over.

Why was she jipped? The Chicago run just came to an end. Surely eveyone involved knew the date. I imagine her contract just went to the end date of the run.

Since Wicked recycles cast members like crazy, why haven't they cast Lisa yet? I saw her go on for SJB and she was incredible.
Oh Lisa. I love that woman like mad. I think she she was the best Elphaba acting-wise and no one else's portrayal touched my heart the way hers did. I'm not sure if she could handle it vocally though. I think she only did 6 shows a week in Chicago.
Top 3 (imo) in no order
Lisa Brescia (Acting and Vocal)
Donna Vivino (Acting and Vocal)
Saycon Sengbloh (Acting and Vocal)
Katie Rose Clarke (Acting and Vocal)
Megan Hilty (I'm Biased)
Kate Loprest

To those people who do not think Dee Roscioli's voice is bad I completeley disagree with you all. My sister and her husband saw Dee before the Chicago production closed and they were blown away by her. As for the person who thought Victoria Matlock made a better Elphaba than Dee, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I also completley disagree. Four people I know went to see Victoria Matlock at different shows and they were all disappointed with her performance. One of these people goes to school with me and works part time at the Dallas Music Hall and she said Victoria went way down hill after the first week of performances. Her Elphaba lacked vulnerability and hr voice was too shreiky for the role. I heard her voice improved when she did "The Marvelous Wonderettes", but she was not right for the role of Elphaba.

If Van Der Pol takes over, then I am gonna have to avoid two Wicked productions! That will just sadden me!
And I'm sure they'll be crying right to the bank

nothing is bad with that! I hear you!
I cannot stand her voice, nor her acting... so that may be my issue with her haha.

Lisa signed a 3 month contract in Chicago and was offered to return as the Broadway stand-by but denied it. She said Chicago was a nice closing with the show for her.

From what I've heard, Lisa preferred being stand by and she only agreed to do the show in Chicago because it was just for the summer. She's an amazing Elphaba though and I would love for her to come back to the show soon. How about they promote Lindsay Northen to fulltime Glinda, I've seen her live and she's fantastic! But I'm seeing her being promoted to standby before she's promoted to full time lead
She did. She only did the chicago run because it was a short period of time. It was even shorter then she thought because she got injured durring it.

I thought her injury only caused her to miss a few days of performances.
She missed close to a week. I think 5 or 6 performances.
