So sad to hear this. She’s was undeniably one of a kind.
Her performance in Annie Baker’s “John” was absolutely unforgettable (in the best kind of way).
I also had the pleasure of seeing her in “Roman Holiday” in San Francisco. She was saddled with some lousy material, and carried the burden of being an extraneous character who wasn’t in the original film. And yet, she brought her singular brand of strange, quirky humor to the role and ended up getting the biggest laughs of the evening.
How upsetting! She was such a talent and always seemed like such a lovely person. Her performance in The Drowsy Chaperone was so special and full of joy. I am glad I had the pleasure of seeing her great talent live.
