Devil Wears Prada Musical with Vanessa Williams?

For the longest time I have been saying that they should make a Devil Wears Prada musical with Vanessa Williams as Miranda Priestly and Sierra Boggess as Andy. Thoughts?

I could see Vanessa but not Sierra. I would prefer someone younger in the part. She's supposed to have just finished college.

Cynthia Erivo as Andy. Wouldn't mind seeing Jamie Lee Curtis in the play version, if there ever is one.

Laura Osnes as Andy, please. Vanessa Williams would make a good Amanda Priestley but I'm guessing many of you have chosen her because the role reminds you of the one she played on "Ugly Betty", so why not? Right?

I would actually like to see Bernadette Peters tackle the role, she's good at comedy and would give her the opportunity to bare her claws.

I think Sherie Rene Scott could be an incredible Miranda. She can be icy cold but has warmth deep underneath it. It would be a radically different character than the movie version, which I would find exciting.

I actually think Sierra would be great in the Emily Blunt role. Would love Patti to star in this with Caroline Bowman or Jennifer Damiano as Andy. This could be really great if done right!! As for the creative team: I think it would be interesting if American Psycho's musical team tackled this.

I'm still sticking with Vanessa Williams being Miranda. I think she would be the perfect role for it. She's done the mean roles with Ugly Betty and the Witch in Into The Woods and brings an evil and warmth to it. I think Jennifer Damiano and Helene Yorke as Andy and Emily would be quite entertaining
