Here's the trailer for anyone who has not seen it yet. It looks like they are ripping off 'Ice Age' or something.

I have no doubt the actual movie will be charming.
But that trailer- uh, what? Way to not reflect your own published plot synopsis at all, Disney.

"I have no doubt the actual movie will be charming."
So do I. I remember seeing trailers for 'Tangled' where they would only show Flynn Rider tied up and then he's make his face and Rapunzel would look disgusted and her chameleon, Pascal, was making a fist telling her to hit him with a frying pan. The actual film was wonderful.

Yeah, it's apparently just a promo done for the trailer--I guess it can be thought of as similar to that Tangled slapstick short showing the wedding... or something. It does seem Ice Age-ish, and as mentioned the Reindeer's shtick of being like a dog seems kinda too soon after Tangled did the same thing with the horse. Meh, I hope we see some glimpses of the film soon.
(THe Alan Menken version from maybe a decade back being written for TokyoDisney seemed much more interesting--though they put the hold on it for being too dark...)

Guys, really: Remember TANGLED? And how the trailers were AWFUL and SO cling-worthy, but the movie is already a classic? Yeah, Frozen will be just like that. Seriously, the cast is PERFECT: Idina Menzel, Santino Fontana, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff in a ANIMATED DISNEY movie! With songs by the writer of AVENUE Q & BOOK OF MORMON! How can that go wrong?
Sadly, Disney is repeating Tangled and make the marketing hip and cool as possible. But, honestly, this teaser wasn't that bad. Could have been Kristoff acting like Flynn Rider! Be patient, the best is coming!
And check out the new stills: REALLY! That will change your mind!

Posted: 6/19/13 at 12:35amI like some of the stills, so fair enough (though they don't blow me away the way Tangled's stylized CGI looked.) And of course we'll soon prob have tons of clips and trailers. But they could have at least thrown in 30 seconds of dramatic looking scenes or something (even if not the dreaded "girly") at the end. After this, you would think it was a slapstick cartoon called Frozen because it was about a snowman. (Maybe it is.)

Posted: 6/19/13 at 5:39amI also hope that Disney acknowledges this as a Musical in the next trailers. No recognition at all was given to Menken in the Tangled trailers. Hence why many thought Tangled was a non-musical.

That prince does NOT look charming! Maybe it's the CGI.
I really wish Disney would go back to traditional animation. I thought the Princeces and the Frog was spectacular, specially the voodoo sequences. I thought it had also a nice balance since they were able too keep some of the humor, while still coming across as elegant and magical.
I would also be really dissapointed if this were to be a comedy. It's understandable that they want to reach out to boys as well as girls but they shouldn't betray their classics in order to do so. Leave the princesses be princesses, and their movies be classic!!
