Good lord, just from the japanese teaser alone proves how amazing the film is going to be. Also very excited to hear what Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez has done for the songs in this film. What a cast from Broadway theatre as well!
I also have read that this movie will be the first Disney film since Sleeping Beauty to be in the ultra widescreen format for the entire film and not small format to be wider during a magical moment (Brother Bear, after when Kenai turns into a bear, and Enchanted where the widescreen vanishes when Giselle enters our world).
The character images have been released. They are very impressive. Though I do notice that Elsa looks somewhat similar to Tinker Bell from 'Peter Pan'.
Those character images are great, makes me excited for the movie even more. I really believe that Elsa may become one of Disney's most interesting characters ever written.
I know that this may be old news, but I read that John Lasseter originally had a team in 2009. Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale as directors, Linda Woolverton as writer, Don Han as producer and Alan Menken and Glenn Slater as the songwriters.
What happend here? It would've been interesting to have a Beauty and the Beast reunion (with the sad exception of Ashman), but the new team we got is really talented and I also heard that Michael Giaimo who was the art director of Pocahontas will be art director on Frozen; from the french and japanese trailers he must have redeemed himself after the whole tall mountains and cliffs in costal Virginia thing (seriously? WTH?).
D23 is getting closer and closer. Can't wait to hear what they will reveal about the movie.
Crew members of the movie have confirmed that Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff are also going to sing in Frozen
There is no word if Santino sings yet. Come on, Disney. How can you NOT give Santino, who has one of the best voices out of everyone in the cast and plays a prince on Broadway, a song? Esepecially when he's a Disney prince? The Confirmation
Wow, those three actors fit their characters perfectly and Olaf is starting to grow on me. I loved the part where Anna saves Kristoff by cuting the rope that held them together.
The movie looks amazing dispite this being test footage for the snow effects. Michael Giaimo and his art team really did a good job on the thus far.
