Nine original songs! That's more than there have been in a long time. Are any of them reprises or very short in length?

Okay I was skeptical at first, but this could really turn out to be a fantastic film.

So Lauren Bacall me, anything goes! *wink*

There could actually be 2 reprises!

According to Buck, the collaboration went even further for "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" "The song reflects Anna's side of the story--which is sung by Kristen Bell, Agatha Lee Monn and Katie Lopez as Anna, and written by Bobby and Kristen--and Elsa's side, which is represented by Christophe's score. It is all woven together beautifully," said the director. "And the melody returns at the end of the film in a really grand and moving way."

Wow... First the best Disney trailer in YEARS, then the soundtrack listing is out with many songs!

I really hope that the reprise at the end of the film includes the wonderful Disney chrous. That would make my whole day.

The lyrics to ALL of the songs have been posted online from a guy who got the CD from a press day yesterday.

You can find them:

Spoilers. It looks like Bobby and Stephen tapped in most of the casts from Mormon and Kinky to do all the session singing. It's pretty exciting.

Really? I know in Fixer Upper, a lady from Mormon is a soloist and one girl looked like Annaleigh. Who do you recongize?

I saw an advance screening of this last night - it was very cute, and I loved its plot. I'll definitely see it again when it opens.

^What did you think of the songs? From one person from DVDizzy.com who saw a screening said this: "Tangled is a story with music and Frozen is a musical with a story." Did the songs advance the plot and characters along?

Yes - the songs were all essentially in lieu of dialogue. Very much felt stage musical-esque. There was 1 song I didn't really care for called "Fixer-Upper", it was kind of a filler/unnecessary song, though cute in general.

Aww, that's my fave so far. :P Yeah, it's filler, but it's very catchy & fun.

The Wrap said that it's Disney's best animated musical since 'Beauty and the Beast'.

Disneybroadwayfan22: I spy Annaleigh, Jennifer Perry, and Ellyn Marie Marsh from Kinky Boots in the video.
