could just be a vacation gig.... picture it "Now Starring Dee Snider 3 Weeks Only!" or some such. See also Whoopi in Xanadu

I never intended to see Rock of Ages. I bought two premium tickets for my son's birthday, for him and his theater-loving girl friend. He hates theater but he loved her, so he was willing to go. Anyway, they broke up a week before the show and my sons did not want go so I used the tickets. I told my son yesterday that Dee Snider could possibly be in the show, and now he wants to see it for that reason alone.
While Adam is perfect as Dennis, I think Dee could bring in a whole new audience.
I think Adam is perfect. but last night while I watched the show I was envisioning Dee doing the role. Maybe Adam is going on tour and Dee is replacing him for awhile??
i'll be there tomorrow.... idk if i'm doing lotto, rush or sro but i'll be there.

So I was sick in bed all day Thursday & kind of yesterday so I figured hey, I'll just snuggle up with RoA on YouTube all day. Anyone who hasn't watched Constantine's video diary in awhile, or Lauren's, should go get on that. :0)
since jeremy jordan is gone, who is the new male swing/ drew u/s?

Does anyone know if there was someone really famous at the show tonight? There was a cop standing around and it seemed like a lot of the staff were abuzz, and they definitely ushered someone outside right before intermission... I'm so curious!
(Also FYI Woodard was on for Stacee, he was dreamy.)
Michele Mais, from Rock of Ages, will be a special guest as a "pay what you can afford" benefit concert this Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 7pm, where she will be reunited with the cast from "The Last Session." Stephen Bienskie, Amy Coleman and composer Steve Schalchlin, along with playwright Jim Brochu, who's starring in Zero Hour off-Broadway.
Again, it's "pay what you can" at the door. Everyone welcome, including pets! It's a benefit for the St. Clement's food pantry and free veterinary clinic. Doors open at 6:30. No reservations. Just come and bring your doggy, if you have one.
If Rock of Ages advertised a contest and did not award the prizes, that's pretty dishonest and fraudulent. I hope they come clean with this and soon...
I just want to say that I saw this show for the first time last night (finally) and it was flippin' incredible. It was like my MP3 player came to life on stage. And the cast could not have been nicer after the show. I'm sure I'll be back multiple times.
