Missed Donna the first time around, so I am THRILLED to hear this news. Won't sleep on tickets this time. Only thing that would make this better is if Beanie Feldstein returns since her understudy was on when I saw Better originally - heard nothing but great things.

Donna was my favorite Dolly of all three and that was from the balcony.  Saw Bernadette in 2nd row Orch and Bette in 10th row Orch.  Donna gave the most fully fleshed-out Dolly and is the only Dolly I would see again.

Agree, would love to see Beanie return. Enjoy Donna! She was my daughter's favorite Dolly!

I can’t help but wonder if they asked Carolee to do it this time around or if they just went straight to Donna to do it again.

Why would they ask someone to take on a new role for six performances only, when they could hire someone who already knows the role?

If they end up having a discount code, I don't think it would become available until Bernadette's discount ends.

So that's another 3 weeks? Should I just hold tight until then or is it risky? Nearly 80% of seats are still available for the day I want to go so I'm assuming latter's fine...?

Just out of curiosity, is anyone else going on both 8/20 and 8/25? I couldn't resist getting an amazing front orchestra seat for Donna's final show to complement my merely decent one in the front row of the balcony on closing night!

I went last week to her first performance back. If any one was curious I legit walked up to the box office at like 1 pm and easily got a $39 rush ticket in mezzanine.

Side Note: I have been lucky enough to have seen all 3 Dolly's and Donna's Dolly was by far the most fully realized version of this character out of the 3. She was marvelous.

Was there today, seemed like a nice full house (with a few scattered seats), this was my first time seeing her in the role, and she is now my favorite Dolly! She brings so much enthusiasm and charm to the role and is in perfect voice, watching that interview from playbill shows you where she gets it from/backstory for the role! 

Standing ovation for the title number this afternoon.
Seriously RUN to catch her in this, 4 performances left!!
