Her performance dates just went on sale, with red lettering saying that "At this performance the role of Dolly Levi will be played by Donna Murphy."
Oh, hell yes! I am there for this! Donna was a pitch-perfect Dolly.
I couldn't be more thrilled! I saw Donna so many times during the original run and I'll be back over and over again for these last few shows.

I loved Donna in the role and her voice was certainly very strong. I may have to buy a ticket.

None of those dates were put on sale for Bette earlier, so will only affect people who don't pay attention or buy secondhand tickets.

Bette was only scheduled for a 7 performance week Tues>Sat with no Sunday matinee tickets sold for her!
Murphy's performances are Sunday matinees that are being added to the schedule so the show has 8 performances a week when Bette returns. And Better still gets the final show as Murphy will do a Monday evening for the final week.

let's not forget that there are sooooooooo many people that don't pay attention.
There hasn't really been any publicity about Bette's return yet has there?

They probably don't need it, it's such a short run. Announcing it in the press and on social should have done the trick. (And maybe they don't want to kill Bernadette's sales by advertising it a ton more than a few weeks out)
Missed when she was Dolly last year, will def try to see her this time!

Usually Donnas performances are highly discounted so maybe I Will reach my goal of seeing DOLLY! 100 times before the run ends!
I LOVED her as Dolly! I'm thrilled to hear this, and so looking forward to seeing her again!

I am so excited for this. I have my tickets for Bette, but I think I need to see Donna one more time as well!
She's really great in the role!
Wow. Did not expect that. Seeing Bette one last time but I gotta hear Donna's last note again in Before the Parade Passes By. Loved Bette and Bernadette but they didn't hit that exciting note as the curtain falls on Act I.
Bette AND Donna! Who says you can't go home again!
Can someone please pay to get Bernadette Peters and Donna Murphy into the record studio to record over the original tracks? This moment of Broadway history cannot just fade away!
