He's just adorable and I'd love to see it, maybe in Miscast or something. Maybe Harley Jay as Henry, too. Andy Mientus as Gabe, and shoot, IDK who I'd want to play Natalie. I don't care.

Posted: 4/25/10 at 12:22pmIn all seriousness, I think if Meryl Streep was a bit younger, she would be good as Diana. She is a very talented actress, and a name that would attract an audience that would otherwise not be interested in the show after Alice leaves. We heard her sing in the Mamma Mia movie, and even if she can't quite handle the demanding score of Next to Normal, I would be forgiving assuming she acts the role very well and boosts ticket sales. Unfortunately, I think she's getting too old to play 39-42, so it seems really unlikely.

Hearing the two sing together would be too great for words. I like Bobby Steggert as Henry a lot too. Kyle Dean Massey is my favorite Gabe. I haven't the slightest idea for Natalie...
