Would Lili Cooper be joining the company again since spongebob doesn't look like it's coming in for another year? Or has she already been replaced?
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

What an amazing number. It's like a show unto itself.
It's so rare that men get these kinds of songs of emotional depth, vulnerability and reflection in a musical, but seem to be written for women much more often (i.e. "Fifty Percent", "I Dreamed A Dream","The Story Goes On", "If He Walked Into My Life", etc.). Men usually get a more "macho" treatment like "Soliloquy" from Carousel.
This number contains elements from some of the few solo numbers I can think of where a male character is required to be more emotionally exposed: "Gethsemane", "Being Alive" and a touch of "I Can't Make This Movie".
Can anyone think of other solo numbers for male characters that require demonstrating emotional vulnerability?
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I was scrolling through my iTunes library and also found, "I Stayed" from A Catered Affair. To add to the "macho"/emotionally suppressed list, there's "A Hymn to Him" from My Fair Lady.
I'm really looking forward to seeing The GC. We just got matinee tix for the same day we got tickets to "Sunday ITP", on a Wednesday night.
I haven't heard but bits and pieces but now, after listening to "Dust..", I a few others, I'm encouraged...plus I'm a sucker for what sounds like huge, lush, orchestrations. Can JG act? I've never seen him in anything. However, he hits it with this, he totally owns this song...way up into the rafters.
It was posted on Facebook today. Fine song, moving lyrics and great acting vocal performance by Groban. I have not seen the show, and have found the cast recording intriguing and droll but, with some exceptions, somewhat repetitive in style and tone. This is a great addition to the score.
