Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:29pmI'm so glad they're not using a synthesizer and decided to go for the full sound.

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:29pmThe San Andreas Fault was a total bitch to me when I tried to get a picture.

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:34pmThere's onstage seating. Under some door frames.

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:35pmWhen is Darren Criss going into the show?
#10Earthquake
Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:39pmI thought he was only coming in with the after shocks?

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:39pmDoes Victoria Principal stage door?

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:40pmAC, no Darren Criss. I heard from a good source that Patti Lupone and Laura Benanti are starring as the Central Virginia Fault Zone. They'll be butted against each other Side Show-style as they shake the other actors onstage.

Everyone post their dream casts. I'll go first.
New York: Idina Menzel
Massachusetts: Laura Bell Bundy
Washington DC: Daniel Radcliffe
North Carolina: Aaron Tveit
Everyone should agree with this.

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:45pmPatti was going to do it but she wouldn't share top-billing with Laura. Now it's going to be Laura and Sherie Scott. The cast recording is already available for pre-order on Ghostlight.

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:52pmThe ORIGINAL earthquake was much better than this one. You young people will never know how exciting it was back then.

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:52pmCan anyone confirm that the cast recording will be complete? Has the book writer's widow approved the use of dialogue on the recording?

Posted: 8/23/11 at 2:56pmThis earthquake was over budget. There'll be another one in a few weeks once they fire Julie Taymor.

The quality of surprising natural disasters today puerile and weak. 5.8? Please. Give me a 9.2 earthquake, and then we can talk. And for all of you who eat up these 5.8 earthquakes, there's something inherently wrong with it. I'm sorry, but that's my opinion, and if you don't like it, you can just go back and never read it in the first place. I did ask you to come here. This whole thread is sick, as is everyone who's posting in it. Whatever happened to the good old days, when we had cyclones and sandstorms? Now, those were real entertainment.
