That's too bad. Go see it while you can. Its fun!
To which I say BALLS. I'm not in New York until the end of March. Am very upset about this.
Weez, you gotta get here sooner. The show is a blast!

I posted this last night but they deleted it....have no idea why....
If there was any way I could, I totally would, but England to New York ain't exactly cheap. Booooo! XP
love it! goodbye, great show
does anyone know if they are still gonna do a cast recording now?
Am I the only one who isn't too sad about it? My three friends and I actually walked out at intermission when we saw it (for free, admittedly, so we didn't have too much invested in it, but still).
They already made the cast recording, I believe, and it should still be on schedule for release later in spring. Or I'll cry.
Unfortunately, they never weekend matinees
Will have to content myself with the CD if it is released
Bummer. I had wanted to see this and won't be able to make it to the city between now and February 17. Oh well. I'll make do with the cast recording.
Got free tickets for this Saturday night at 11. So glad to be able to see it before it closes. I'm a big fan of the films.

Further proof, unfortunately, that the Off-Broadway financial model is competely broken and even with decent reviews, name recognition and good word of mouth, it's next to impossible for a commercial off-Broadway show to recoup.

If you've read the article I did about Ryan Ward, you'll know that the EVIL DEAD cast album is scheduled for release on April 3rd.
Look Who's Evil Now!
Echoing Margo, Broadway may be in the same boat a few years from now if costs keep escalating
There is only so much added costs they can pass on to the public

Having seen this show twice, I can honestly say that I truly enjoy it. Run to New World Stages and catch one of its last performances.

I think this is the saddest I have ever been at the closing of a show. It deserved a longer run. Thank the lord that the CD is being released. Its going on my "To Buy" list immediatly.
Here's hoping the creative team, cast, and crew go on to bigger and better things.

I was terribly excited to see this (and THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED) in March.
February is a cemetery.
They just redesigned the site including a few videos ("What the F*** was that" and "All the men in my life..")
