Does anyone know any sites selling foreign language cast recordings of musicals? I'm learning German and French right now, and I find listening to musicals helps a lot since I already know the English words.

I only have a couple, but I love them!
CATS in German is very interesting.
I also have HAIR and RENT in German.
And if you go to amazon.com, you can often search for foreign language cast recordings. That's where I got HAIR and CATS.
Otherwise, visit www.amazon.de
Just bear in mind that the lyrics are probably much different from their English originals. The Spanish MAN OF LA MANCHA, for example, is only slightly the same.

Aida has a recording in German.
There is a copy of the album on iTunes, I believe.

Footlight's the easiest to use.

AIDA is amazing in Japanese, in my opinion. I have the French revival cast of Les Miserables, which is just really awesome. I have the Japanese Red cast of that too, which ranks 2nd behind French, but above all the English recordings.
The Brel translation of LA MANCHA is another one that varies wildly from the original. Brel actually got in a bit of trouble for his liberties.
Mr. Roxy: you have RUGATINO??? Wow, I havent thought of that show in years.

It's interesting to listen to musicals in foreign languages, however they become boring to listen to because you don't understand what they are saying.

I have cast recordings of HELLO, DOLLY! in French, German, Hebrew and Italian. The French version is really a delight.
It's funny, because I started a thread on the other site with this exact same question, but was inquiring about Les Miserables. According to Les Mis' website, it said the show was recorded in numerous foreign languages, yet, I can't seem to find the recordings I would like (specifically the Brazilian production). I have checked both Footlight and Amazon.

I don't think there ever was a São Paulo cast recording of Les Miz.

No, there wasn't.
actor - if you don't understand, it forces you to listen to the music.
Dresscircle.com and amazon.co.uk. Lots of Spanish and French cast recordings. Probably other languages as well.
iTunes has Les Mis in French. I also lucked into finding the Mexico City OCR of POTO at Borders a few years ago.
Les Miz in Hebrew is awesome! I saw it in Tel Aviv back in 1999 and loved it.

I have Rent in German, it's really interesting.
I had this period of time where I had to own every foreign language cast recording or selections of Rent that I could find. Of course, I don't speak any of these languages, but a lot of them are hilarious.

Also, check on Ebay every once and a while. I found several of my foreign cast recordings there.
My latest purchase is "Notre-Dame de Paris". I love it!
I found it on Amazon ( I think )
I have the Dutch version of Les Miserables that I got there.
The french concept album on Les Miz is very good.
I just search amazon (or google) for the show you want and the country. I just did a test search and found the German and Spanish versions of POTO.
I've found that, after Dress Circle, the best shop is www.soundofmusic.de Just click on the 'change language' link next to the Union Jack flag and it's fairly easy to use.
