I’m going to try rush tomorrow and see where it gets me - probably get there around 8:30ish and see. (The weather is fine so I will be too
Rush was so easy this morning. Got there around 9. Second in line. First person was there 7:30 (which he admitted was “too early&rdquo. Two people were after me at doors opening.
I got front row orchestra aisle B-111
I caught this this afternoon through the lottery. It was fine. Sean Hayes is really, really great, but the rest of play just didn't do much for me.

I was checking tickers for when I am in NYC next week and it seems to be selling quite well right now and at higher price points. I know it is up on TKTS fairly often, but I haven't see discount codes floating around, so something must be working in their favorl
Does Sean Hayes stagedoor?
According to the official website, Sean Hayes is out on vocal rest today, and his understudy Max Roll will be performing.

Can anyone verify if Oscar sounded like that in real life? I was very confused by the accent/vocal choice from Sean. It went from affectation to slipping into full on camp bizarro world. The first half of this play was also an exercise in complete tediousness to me. Like yes, things are being built up, but either the way it was written or directed (possibly both) made it tiresome to get to the meat of the show, nearly 60 min into a 100min play. If Sean beats the other four nominees for Best Actor, I will truly be baffled.
All that said, the piano playing scene? Chef’s kiss. And the wife did a great job.

With Hayes' Tony win might this extend? Or is something else already lined up for the Belasco for the Autumn?

I love how many commenters are taking Jesse Green to task for his childish dis of Sean Hayes in the critics' summary of the NYT Best and Worst Moments from the Tony Awards.
