This was in the other thread, but who DIDN'T come out the stage door after the show today? I didn't stick around after seeing the mob. And how long did it take to disperse?
"I just wanna take a really quick moment on behalf of the cast, this is -(audience member shouts "I love you, Cheyenne") I love you, too. (laughter) This is, um, this is obviously a bittersweet moment for us, probably more bitter than sweet, as you can gather. But, this has been a magical, amazing experience for us, and I just wanted to, on behalf of the cast, thank everybody that has supported us from the very beginning. There are people here that have seen it probably 20, 30, 40 times and it means a whole lot. It means a lot. We have some vets in this cast that have been in 10, 11, 12 Broadway shows and they all can testify to - it's just been, this is a special time. I know every cast says (Cheyenne puts on a mock-sweet tone) "we're a family, it's great!" (laughter). Right. But, no, this is - (audience member shouts, "best cast in the world!"). Thank you, I agree. This is a one-of-a-kind experience. So, just, thank you, we love you. Please continue to support Broadway and live theatre and we'll see you next time." Thunderous applause. :)
I enjoyed every moment of the show. It's so so sad to see that it had to close. I can't imagine another show or another cast ever like it.
A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it,
but all she really dreams is to make someone
else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer.
And that is so beautiful-Anonymous
Saddest thing ever! i can't believe it closed, this is so unfair! it is th enicest and most talented cast ever! Cheyenne gave me his "lucky beads" from his dressing room and I could have cried! The show was incredible, "There's Always Me" was phenomenal, Sharon Wilkins outdid herself, I was crying so much! Everyone came out except Sharon even Jonathan came out, this is one of eth first times I"ve ever seen his come out! He signed my shirt! somy final count was 31 times... it was a good run, I'm going to miss it! Hopefully ASu cast members will do workshops in Chicago so I can go see them!
LOL liotte, I was hoping for an exact count. :) Do you possibly have an answer to my question earlier on what the leads, aside from Jenn and Cheyenne, are doing now?

Not to be redundant from an earlier post, but it bears repeating now... imagine how much more they would've made had the closing date been later, say, Dec. 31? The holidays would've brought more tourists to ALL the shows! So sad, so sad.
I got to see it 2 times, I loved it... its just one of those fun shows, you leave smiling and singing along too. Plus I agree so much- Best cast ever- they all sign, take pictures, and are super nice. Unlike some shows were the stars rush past ya like you're not there, they stay and sign and sometimes even remember you as Mr. Front Row :-p
My roommate just told me that as she walked along 47th street today, she saw them taking the set out and loading it onto a truck. I'm so glad I wasn't there, I would have bawled.
