That’s who the original email came from

Nah

Some people on here are really unnecessarily catty. OP is just venting their frustration and asking advice, calling them the ‘epitome of entitlement’ is just nasty
#28

Nah

That sucks. I’ve started setting reminders in my phone to enter and then check results, because that disclaimer of theirs is really inconvenient.

Bless your heart, did that hand-slap feel good?

if someone is going to come here and post a thread to whine that they were “screwed” out of a lottery win, you better I’m going to call it as I see it.

Nah

I'm sorry...SHOULDNT one be able to trust the website to send out emails in a timely matter? Perhaps he used hyperbole to express his disappointment, but I see where he's coming from.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I won the Hamilton lottery I got the email at 6:04 and it told me I needed to pay by 2 pm to claim

Obviously I cant claim them now.

Sorry that this happened to you. Moving forward I wouldn't post anything of this nature on a forum like this as you can now see from the unnecessarily rude comments you've received. Protect your peace from outside influences, my friend.

Nah

What does ‘hand slap’ even mean? You’re like a bunch of catty old women

This person rightfully won something worth hundreds of dollars and due to a relatively rare technical issue that was outside of their control they were unable to claim it. Most people would be upset about that and look for ways to fix it. I can’t for the life of me figure out how that’s remotely “entitled” much less the epitome of it. It’s how a regular person would react.

Kicking this person when they’re down is the only unusual behavior in this thread, in my opinion.

Correct.

Nah

This seems like splitting hairs, but you can get screwed out of things that you don’t pay for. Inheritance, tenure, etc.

Just for fun, google the phrase “I got screwed out of” (with the quotes) to see all the exciting things people get screwed out of that they don’t pay for. Just on the first page, I see “years of my life”, “maternity leave”, “inner peace”, and “a fellowship”. A lotto win seems pretty in line with all of those things.

Nah

Lolz.

Nah

I would be disappointed if I won and didn't hear anything. I have been watching the Hamilton lottery very closely as I have not seen any notifications after the fact.

You would think so dramamama611 but apparently we are in the minority.

Comparing years of your life to a Broadway lottery…not this!

Nah

Soooooo I played the Hamilton lottery daily for a good while, even won once or twice, and the app notified me every day at 12, win or lose.

#41

Nah

I feel the OPs pain! I was entering the Hamilton lottery nearly every day at the height of their popularity. The ONE day I forgot to check if I won or lost, I won. It was in April of 2017, I was devastated. It sucked and I kicked myself over it for so long. Luckily I had tickets for later in the year (albeit full price ugh lol). But it still sucked.

Have you played it currently?  If not, you have no idea what the app is doing or not doing.

#43

So it took 11 days and a bunch of phone calls but they are giving me new tickets !
#44

New tickets better be lottery price and lottery location in first two rows!! Congrats OP for the win!

It appears to be working again without any issues for me. Received email and text today that I won. Quick and easy. :)

You're lucky. One of the worst shows I've ever seen.

Did you email them? Did they ever answer the email if you did? I have a slightly different issue and BroadwayDirect told me to email them.
