Considering barely anyone has been inside, nobody can inform you yet, but in the picture, it doesn't look too bad.

It's starting to get kind of ridiculous that we don't have a full cast announcement...first preview is 19 days away.

I do wonder if we'll be getting any surprises when the cast is announced, or if the majority of the concert cast is simply reprising...

In other words? Better be worth the wait. Lol

^Precisely. I have to believe there has been some sort of reason for the holdup, perhaps in regards to contract negotiations, or maybe a possible extension is being worked around. Not sure, but to not know the entirety of a cast-- and to expect people to be buying tickets!-- with less than three weeks to go is just absurd. I know they don't NEED the business because they have a movie star, but let it be known, it is still Bad Business.

They can't announce a cast until all the contracts have been signed. This transfer happened very fast and my guess is that there were a few actors who began rehearsals while final details of contracts were still being put in place.

1. There's nothing that says that a casting announcement cannot be made until every contract is signed. If that were the case, Jake and Annaleigh would not be announced.

2. Actors do not go into rehearsals without a signed contract.

Found this image. I feel like the first couple rows of the balcony would still feel close enough, but after that you might feel slightly 'removed'. Although those pipes on the ledge look like they could be a sightline issue depending on your height.

I'm absolutely thrilled about this theater being a legit Broadway house. That proscenium arch is gorgeous.

Getting increasingly excited for the show, and especially to be in the Hudson for the first time! Optimistic that it will be a beautiful space...

Now that's a nice diverse cast. Happy to have Ruthie Ann Miles & Ashley Park back on Broadway.

Agreed, I would have loved to have her "Beautiful" preserved on the (likely forthcoming) cast recording!

I wonder if Jenni Barber and Calybourne Elder will be understudying Dot & George, having both played the roles previously, or if the show will just be canceled if Gyllenhaal isn't in.

I assume Bobby Leonard is playing Jules and Erin Davie is Yvonne. Jenni Barber just played Dot in Boston and was supposedly brilliant--assume she will be understudying.
