Well, that certainly made me want to see it again even more.
The amazing thing is that is was a tribute to the original cast performing the same songs on the same stage 40 years ago.
They sounded great but I do think I liked the Aquarius Singer better in the park.
But It was a tokin' hot performance.
Peace out.
What songs were performed? Aquarius and The Flesh Failures?
Aquarius and Let the Sun Shine In.
Allison Case was adorable as always.
The show is just on here in Denver. I am so hoping they pay homage to the performance the original cast did in that same theater with Ed Sullivan.
It was fabulous.

I wasn't expecting The Flesh Failures too. That was just fantastic. Sometimes performances that break the 4th wall play really weird on TV, but this cast made it work. Splendid.

You can say that again. Oh, wait, you already did.
That was freakin' awesome. The Flesh Failures never ceases to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up on end. This performance was incredible. It makes me wan of go see it again! What an incredible cast! What an incredible show!

Love.
Best production of the year. Hands down. InCREDible performance!
That was awesome. Has the little electric guitar "National Anthem" riff at the very end of "Let the Sunshine In" always been part of the score or is that new?
simply amazing!!!

Cats, it's not placed there in the show. I think it's in Electric Blues.
That was fantastic! It makes me even more excited to go see it! I'm (hopefully) seeing it in July.
I'm now even more excited to see this show on Sunday.

WOW is right. I don't think a YouTube clip has ever made me so downright giddy.
TV performances are usually incredibly awkward and watered-down, so what an unexpected delight this was! Reminds me of seeing the show in Park this summer during previews, not having any idea whether to expect a decent Hair or a terrible Hair, and just being blown away from the opening number. Can't wait to see the Broadway production.
I desperately want to see this show.

Looks like the audience loved it!
I think that performance alone will make people want to see the show. That is the first t.v. performance that has made me want to see it.
