I'm glad they recorded all the reprises too. Hopefully sh-k-boom will redeem themselves with this one after the disappointing fade outs and cuts on the Pippin cast recording.

Did you see the show, Tom? Maybe YOU don't need one, but I know lots of folks that do. And since I didn't have a chance to catch it on B'way, I'm looking forward to hearing this.

^I agree. I was gonna wait a few months and just borrow it from a friend, but after I saw them perform on the Drama Desk, I decided I might need to buy a few songs early. Release date yet?

I have been a fan of Trey's music both with and without Phish for years. And, I'm glad that theatre fans have had the pleasure of enjoying his music and I'm glad that it is being recorded.

I may have to buy it if we do. Just to have I'm Gone into the laughter into Joy of the Lord into Stronger. The show had its problems, but that was about the most satisfying 20 minute stretch of any musical this season for me.

I agree, however I don't think the show had any problems at all outside of it's horrendous marketing team.

That's certainly true-- they were right down the block from tkts, on the board everyday, and whenever I ran by there I don't think I saw a street team once.

I've never bought a ticket because there was a street team . . . but perhaps tourists do? Or people wandering around the city for the day contemplating taking in a show, then the kicker is the discount?
