I found Hamilton tickets available by Ticketmaster for 890 For two people and it looks like it’s row p orchestra. Does this sound reasonably priced for Hamilton? Does anyone know if this section has a good view.
I would never, in a million years pay over 400 for a ticket to see anything. Heck, I never have paid over 200. So NO I don't think it's a good price. But really, its your money, and none of my business how you choose to spend it. If YOU think it's worth it, then it is. I'm guessing these tickets are offered as re-sale? So you're paying a scalper (most likely) a big profit over what he paid.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I sat row M on the side (M12) and found it to be a good seat. Good view, saw everything, wasn't squinting the way you are at the back of the orchestra. It did not compare to my experience of seeing it from the house seats, J 106. That was the perfect amount of closeness to really feel the immediacy of the show and the excitement and the closeness, while still being far enough away to take everything in. I sat row F later, and found that to be just a touch too close. Perfect view of faces, but the effect of some of the 'full stage' scenes like Yorktown was lessened.
I have not yet seen it from first row mezz but I'm dying too, I've been told it's fantastic. It's supposed to be the best way to see the lighting, the choreo, and the overall show.
