I sat in row x of the orchestra and the view was perfect!!! The mezz overhang doesnot block anything only the very top of the set, but the entire stage you can see. I posted a picture of my view from my seat earlier in the thread."
Thanks- It took me 20 mins hunting through this thread to find your pics, but finally found the drive link!
This is probably a one-shot deal for me due to the cost - I usually go to shows alone but husband wants to see this one. If I was going alone I would have paid for a much closer seat but I just couldn't spend that much on 2 seats. Although now I'm toying with upgrading since the initial cost was paid off months ago... sigh.

Trust me this show is worth it. It is seriously the coolest theater experience I have ever witnessed. There is no other word to describe it but magical. And actually I enjoyed the rear orchestra a lot since the effects were perfect from back there. You see the effects perfectly and your not too close where you could see some of them being done. I would 100% sit in the rear orchestra again it was fantastic!!!

Yes you see the effect. It’s all over the theater even on the overhang.

Posted: 4/15/18 at 5:40pmSeconding that far sides are no issue. I am in between parts so haven’t seen part 2 but wanted to say K34 has a great view, not missing any action. The only thing I felt I couldn’t see was the house flags for slytherin and hufflepuff - it’s not important to see them but that was the only thing I noticed at all. Based on how part 1 went I have zero concern I’ll miss anything in part 2.

Posted: 4/15/18 at 6:28pmThanks so much for your post. I was really worried. If you find the time at intermission or something when you’ll see part 2, could you just walk to the side of row D orch for me? No pressure at all! Thankfully now I know the far sides are not bad, however I’m still a little concerned about the sides when you’re so close like I am in row D..

I had G 36 on Saturday and row D will be fine. You really won’t miss anything. I couldn’t see half of the Griffindor/ Ravenclaw house flags, but that was not a big deal for me.

So the "special" items are only sold at the start of and during intermission of part 2 (i.e., if you wait till the end of part 2, they're gone)?

Has anyone sat of to the sides in the front section of orchestra? Like the FAR sides. Currently looking at seat F 28 and wondering if you miss much being on the side.

Seating advice please . Between Dress Circle center Row F 106-107 and Orch R row Q 20-22 which would be better for view, effects etc. Thanks! I'm sitting on a cpl pairs for my boyfriend's birthday and have to let one pair go and don't know which one to keep.

I posted twice about it above, but had G 29 and the view was great, just couldn’t see half of the Griffindor and Ravenclaw flags, but other than that they are great seats on the far side.

I saw that! Just wondering about more opinions on the right orchestra, should’ve mentioned that.

Sat in J26 on Sunday and it was a great view. Didn’t miss a thing. Was much more taken with this than I thought I’d be. The stagecraft, especially the movement, is sensational. Would be surprised if this doesn’t get a choreography nomination.

Thanks CT2NYC. This is incredibly useful. Looks like a good view. And great tip about the binoculars! I have a friend who has some that I can borrow. And CT2NYC...I hope you get to see the show soon! You can been so helpful on this thread. I’m sure many people owe their HP seats to you.

Our seats aren’t together but sounds like my seat in Dress Circle row L seat 107 (scored it for $20 per part) will be pretty sweet.
Excellent! As far as the balcony is concerned, the view looks to be pretty great, especially from balcony center. Some have said that it provides an excellent vantage point for the magic effects, even better than the rear mezzanine, where some of the effects are obscured by the balcony overhang. Also, the inclinein the balcony is more steep than in the mezanine, which makes it easier to see over the heads in front of you. I'm sure it will be difficult to make out facial expressions from both sections, though. Binoculars might be a good idea for both of you. I'll be sitting in the same areas, and I'm definitely bringing mine. There are a lot of pics on Instagram from the balcony, which usually make the distance lookmuch further away than it actually is, due to the wide-angle lenses on the phones' cameras. Here is a great pic from what appears to be row E of balcony center. I think it looks excellent, and much better than expected:

HI All:
I am finally going tomorrow and cannot wait. OrchR J 4 for $155/part, I couldn't be a that! I guess they start reducing when the date gets closer! I just wanted to thank CT2NYC and everyone else here. I have learned so much and feel like this is my little "HP Family!"
I now there are spoilers with the merchandise, but can someone just PM with what should be looking out for that's not available in the outside store? For both parts? You're not ruining it for me, I have a nephew that I need to buy birthday gifts for and I can't mess this up (or I won't be the cool uncle anymore)
Any Help would be great!
Thanks everyone!
