I am finally going tomorrow and cannot wait. OrchR J 4 for $155/part, I couldn't be a that! I guess they start reducing when the date gets closer! I just wanted to thankCT2NYC and everyone else here. I have learned so much and feel like this is my little "HP Family!"
I now thereare spoilers with the merchandise, but can someone just PM with what should be looking out for that's not available in the outside store? For both parts? You're not ruining it for me, I have a nephew that I need to buy birthday gifts for and I can't mess this up (or I won't be the cool uncle anymore) Any Help would be great!
Thanks everyone!"
Ditto! I want to have this info also. Any exclusive merch I should know about? I already read the play so know the plot as well.
There is a $155 per part and $189 per part ticket for tomorrow’s Thursday/Friday performances. I also just want to echo on what other people have said. Definitely keep looking whenever you can. I was just able to find a $20 per part ticket for Saturday, so it is possible to get the cheaper tickets!!!
I'm sorry, but I really wish people wouldn't "hold" tickets in their TM account if they have no intention of purchasing them. No one on this site is more entitled to these tickets than the general ticket-buying public, and even when available again it may not come up as the best available. It's cheating other people from having access to the best tickets. I don't know if TM has a rule about it (unlikely), but it's definitely an abuse of the system.

There's no way TicketMaster can prevent (or care) if people have tickets in their cart that they release after the 10-minutes of whatever time they have to complete a purchase. Also, in the grand scheme of things, it is barely a blip amongst the obstacles that have existed to getting decent seats to this show. Being shut out of the entire Ticketmaster Verified sale impacted me more than people holding tickets for 10 minutes twice a day in order to help people on here get a shot at good seats, heh.
More tickets for #CursedChildNYC will be released on Monday, April 23 at 11am ET for performances through May 12, 2019. Join the Virtual Waiting Room from 10am ET on Monday, April 23 for the best chance to purchase tickets when they are released at 11am ET!
To make the ticket purchasing process as fair as possible everyone in the Virtual Waiting Room will be randomly assigned a place in the queue at 11am ET when tickets are released.
I’m currently holding a $120 per part ticket for tomorrow’s performance in my cart—Row A seat 6. The seat will release in ten minutes, unless someone PM’s me that they would like the ticket.
There are tickets in Orchestra row B on StubHub for tomorrow/Fri for BOTH parts for a total of $244 each including fees (as well as other cheaper options).
Anyone think the new release of tickets will include holdbacks for shows in the next couple of months (eg June) or more likely later shows into 2019? I’ve got tickets for my June trip but have been checking frequently for better seats if I can get them. I’d have to move something fairly important on the 23rd to give it a try so just wondering if folks think it will pay off or be fruitless. I realize I’m asking for speculation though maybe someone has a better idea of how this stuff works with hold-backs.

Ditto to haterobics. To be fair, this forum is also open to anyone in the general public who cares enough to look for it and read every post that comes along trying to get good seats. I found it initially via an internet search.
This isn’t regarding seats, but didn’t know where else to put this. For anyone wondering about the public store hours and other information about the facilities in the theater, I just realized the lyric thester website has a lot of information on that. Just figured I’d share this in case anyone wants thag info especially for the specific hours of the public store
Anyone get this? i was wondering what the “special gift” was?

The show's tweet said "More tickets for #CursedChildNYC will be released on Monday, April 23 at 11am ET for performances through May 12, 2019." So yup, get in the waiting room.
For anyone interested, there are a good amount of seats available for Wednesday the 25th. You could get up to 4 seats together for price points between $165-289

Oh please. the vast majority of ticket buyers have no idea this site exists, nor will they ever discover it. The idea that someone doesn't care enough to look for a message board where a member is holding tickets hostage is, quite frankly, absurd.

I'm more curious as to why Prime ticketholders get this option, but premium ticketholders don't.

I was actually searching around earlier this week because I'm so curious what "a special gift" could mean. Like, is it show specific? I hope someone can give us an idea as to what that is.
As far as "holding" tickets is concerned, I've seen amazing seats that I've neither held nor posted about go unsold for hours and even days afterward. The presumption that holding them for a short period of time makes a big difference in the grand scheme of things doesn't hold much water, in my opinion.

As is the notion that one could hold a ticket hostage.
It dawned on me that nobody was complaining when we were helping people get tickets in the DEH thread doing the same exact thing when nobody could get reasonable tickets to see Ben Platt before he left.
Plus what is all this holding tickets "hostage" nonsense? Hostage taking implies there are demands or expectations. People need to chill out...
Yep -- this same practice on the DEH thread allowed me to snatch front row tickets to Ben Platt's penultimate performance! And I'm hopeful that this thread will similarly help me get seats to Harry Potter once I'm in the city this summer (I have Nov tix but hopefully would like to see it before then). The person complaining is clearly just bitter/annoyed that tickets are hard to come by and decided to unleash some very misplaced anger -- this thread isn't keeping regular people from getting tickets it's HELPING them actually get reasonably priced tickets to a practically sold-out show. If one is a big enough theater fan that they want to get multiple alerts per day about theater tickets I think it's safe to say they deserve the tricks of the trade that go along with it. Go troll elsewhere.
Yup I agree! This thread has been super helpful and Hopefullt posting on here has let some people see the show cuz it’s seriously magical. Also, there is a great seat available for next Wednesday’s performance. $130 per part dress circle row a seat 105
