This is probably a dumb question, but they do the Friday Forty for Sunday’s too right? Every time I go to Today Tix they only have Thursday-Saturday listed, but it says the Friday Forty is for all shows. I’ll be in NYC at the end of May and am going to enter for tickets on Sunday the 27th, so I was just making sure

This past Sunday (the 15th) was the first Sunday that they had performances so maybe you entered when they didn't have Sunday performances yet. But yeah, they'll accept Friday Forty for Sundays (I entered for the 15th so it's an option).

There’s an 120 per part ticket for tonight’s performance—row a seat 8 in the dress circle. It’s currently in my cart. Pm me if you want it, otherwise I’ll release it in ten

Not sure if anyone’s asked yet, but of those of you who have already gone, how long before the show would you say you actually have to get there? The emails have been saying an hour before but that sounds a bit crazy to me.

Okay I assumed so, but wanted to verify. Thanks

They opened the doors about an hour to 45 minutes before the show. People started lining up early but the line goes pretty fast so even though it might seem long it’ll go fast. You have to go through a metal detector so keep that in mind. The lobby gets pretty crowded too since the auditorium doors don’t open til 30 minutes before. If you want to buy merchandise and or get drinks (I recommend the pumpkin juice) get there early since the lines get long. Also there is a merchandise stand in the mezzanine that is less crowded than the one on the orchestra level

They’ve been emphasizing getting there an hour early tonight specifically. Is there a VIP/dignitary attending perhaps?

The reason for today's over emphasizing is because the show used to start at 8pm however tonight is the first night and for the rest of the run they are starting at 7:30pm.

Agreed with Notreallysilent2 You don't have to get there an hour early. There are cool things to explore in the lobby but you can do that before part 2 when it is less busy. However the merchandise does change between part 1 and part 2 do I'd check it out incase you want to buy something

So all of the merch is available at part two, but only some at part one? Or do they also pull things after one?

Sort of. I don’t want to spoil the show, so I’ll just say that in part two they do change some of the merchandise to reflect what happened at the end of part one. The merchandise that is changed for part 2 is only available at the theater not at the public store. Also now that I think about it if you want to get the common merchandise it’s be better to check the public store before you see the show since it won’t be as crowded (the store is on 42nd)

Have a couple of choices for Memorial Day weekend:  Balcony B 117-118 or Dress Circle  H 5-7.  The Dress Circle seats are a little more expensive and I generally prefer being in the Dress Circle but it just seems so far back.  Any advice from anyone familiar with the layout?  Thanks.

Last time I promise, but I have a $40 per part ticket available on June 24th (a Sunday). I'm already seeing the show that day but would love to find a $20 or $40 per part ticket for either June 20th or 27th. My seat is in Row G of the Balcony, Center Aisle. This is my final plea, but if nobody responds, will most likely be returning it by the end of the day.

Can anyone comment on the prices of the merchandise? I assume the merch itself is similar to that on the UK cursed child website?

Also, other than the part 2 merch changeover, someone else mentioned earlier in this thread that there are merch exclusives that are only available inside the theatre, does that apply to the part 2 merch changeover, or are there other theatre-only exclusives?

im getting excited, only two weeks till I visit N.Y. and see cursed child!

Make sure you leave yourself enough time to use the restroom!
"

Praised be to baby Jeebus for this! Seriously, you can see my other posts in the reviews thread, but the late seating ruined a very quiet and beautiful moment in Part 2 Act 1 when I saw it for the first time.

I saw the first preview from Dress Circle H1 and the view was great. There was one teeny tiny bit that was slightly obstructed (without spoilers, it was the very end of Part 1 Act 2 and it doesn't hurt the story or mood at all, it just wasn't as cool as seeing it without the balcony above us). I posted pictures on my instagram (same username as here), it's the first set of pictures I posted from that seat. It was a really amazing view.

Guys I need your help! What seat would be better? ORCH Row D all the way to the side or ORCH Row Q all the way to the side. Both are same price, but need to decide today!

There’s an $80 per part seat for Wednesday April 25th—balcony center E117 available

The show started at 7:35 pm last night, so it didn't really start promptly. I noticed that they removed the counter from the orchestra merchandise stand, and it didn't look like they changed the merchandise ay the end of part 1 (though I didn't stop to check). If anything is different between London and Broadway, it's this. In London, they change the merchandise selection almost completely after part 1. On Broadway, they simply supplement what's available.

To be sure I understand correctly, are you saying that all merchandise sold during part 1 is also sold during part 2, along with other part 2-related items?

100% Row Q, I would avoid first 5 rows for this show

I sat in C20 and loved the seat. Easy to see facial expressions and you really feel immersed in the show and the emotion. That being said, I walked all the way back on the side of orchestra and was impressed with the view from there as well. It comes down to what you generally prefer - being up close for greater emotion and facial expression, or viewing from farther back for more of an overview of the stage. You really can't go wrong!

On Broadway, after Part 1, the merchandise stand starts selling merchandise that relates to Part 2, supplementing the other merchandise sold throughout (though last night I did not notice them selling any of the Part 2 merchandise, but I didn't really look).

In London, the Part 2 merchandise replaces most of the merchandise at the end of Part 1 and at the start of Part 2. And it's very prominent. At least, that's what they did the two times I saw the show.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't London only have that one main merch station in the main lobby? On Broadway, they have the full store plus the one on the orchestra level and one on the mezz level.

My guess is that it just take a lot more effort to switch out the three rather than the one.
