On Broadway, after Part 1, the merchandise stand starts selling merchandise that relates to Part 2, supplementingthe other merchandise sold throughout (though last night I did not notice them selling any of the Part 2 merchandise, but I didn't really look).
In London, the Part 2 merchandise replaces most of the merchandise at the end of Part 1 and at the start of Part 2. And it's very prominent. At least, that's what they did the two times I saw the show."
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't London only have that one main merch station in the main lobby? On Broadway, they have the full store plus the one on the orchestra level and one on the mezz level.
My guess is that it just take a lot more effort to switch out the three rather than the one."
Maybe I'm just dim, but I still don't have a clear understanding. Let me ask this another way: Is there any merch sold during act 1 that is not available if you wait until act 2 to buy?

I can’t rmember if they change it but all the part one merchandise is sold at the public store. Part 2 does change the merchandise which is only available inside the theater

No butter beer unfortunately. The only HP themed food is the pumpkin juice. I think it’s freshly made? But anyway it was a bit on the pricey side ($9) but it was very good. It tastes like cinnamon apple sauce to me

I may give that a try. A lot cheaper than the $26 cocktail I purchased in order to survive Anastasia (and I'm not even remotely a drinker). I'm highly optimistic HP will not make me feel the need to imbibe. But too bad about the butterbeer because that stuff was tasty. They'd make a fortune on it especially since it's nonalcoholic and everyone can drink it.

Since next Sunday (4/22) is Opening Night, you might not be placed where usual Friday Forty seats are, just FYI."
Oh wow, good point. Didn’t realize that’s opening night! I am excited to be there. Saw the show this past Wednesday; can’t believe I actually won the friday forty.
I won for opening night as well! And it is on my birthday! I imagine the fact that it is opening might change the seating locations, but regardless I am super excited to see the show again, particularly to be there for opening night. I didn’t really think they would even be doing a lottery for that day.
There is a $165 per part ticket for June 3 if anyone is interested. Also congrats on winning!!! That’ll be extra special to go on opening night (you’ll probably be in the same room as JKR). I know most shows don’t sell tickets to opening night but do we think there’s is a chance they might release a few to opening night for HP? Or was the Friday forty the only way to get public tickets to that?
The fact that I will be in the room with JKR has not escaped me, and as someone who has long outgrown the whole stage door/celebrity fan boy thing...I am way too excited about spotting JKR.
Jusr for you guys who have been wondering, the extreme sides are great seats! I’m in G 29 this afternoon and have an amazing view! The seating chart is misleading, it says there is no seat in front of it, but there is, so beware of the tricky seating chart!

Is this Orchestra or Dress Circle? But glad to know the views at the sides are good still.

It's definitely orchestra. There is no G 29 in the dress circle.

There hasn’t been much chat about the view from the Balcony. I’m seeing the show at the end of the month with DH. Our seats aren’t together but sounds like my seat in Dress Circle row L seat 107 (scored it for $20 per part) will be pretty sweet.
Unsure about DH’s seat in Balcony row E seat 112? ($80 per part - thanks to help from ebizzle). It’s in the centre and far enough back to appreciate the staging and effects but not sure how tiny the actors will look from back there? Any comments on how mid balcony seating is?
I can vouch for the pumpkin juice! It was delicious and the fanboy in me couldn’t stop giggling at the fact I was watching the show and drinking pumpkin juice :)

Sorry to bring this up, but I believe dress circle L 107 is an accessible seat. If you meant to buy it because you require it, I apologize for mentioning it. If you purchased it by accident, I figured it's best to know now. I'm not sure how strict the theatre's staff is about policing those seats.

Yes you are correct about my seat. I did require an accessible one and the theatre called me a few days after booking to make sure my needs were met. No need to apologize. It was a great deal and I was fortunate one was available. Originally I was seated in a $199 seat and was able to return that ticket after scoring this sweet seat. I located it originally by searching for ‘part one or part two only’ and ended up paying the $3.50 order fee twice but obviously was worth it. My hubby doesn’t need an accessible seat and luckily was able to score that balcony seat a few weeks back for him. Thanks again to ebizzle for coordinating the drop off/pick up process with me for the balcony seat.

Excellent! As far as the balcony is concerned, the view looks to be pretty great, especially from balcony center. Some have said that it provides an excellent vantage point for the magic effects, even better than the rear mezzanine, where some of the effects are obscured by the balcony overhang. Also, the incline in the balcony is more steep than in the mezanine, which makes it easier to see over the heads in front of you. I'm sure it will be difficult to make out facial expressions from both sections, though. Binoculars might be a good idea for both of you. I'll be sitting in the same areas, and I'm definitely bringing mine. There are a lot of pics on Instagram from the balcony, which usually make the distance look much further away than it actually is, due to the wide-angle lenses on the phones' cameras. Here is a great pic from what appears to be row E of balcony center. I think it looks excellent, and much better than expected:

Don't why I'm bothering, but I'm wondering the same...

I sat in row x of the orchestra and the view was perfect!!! The mezz overhang does not block anything only the very top of the set, but the entire stage you can see. I posted a picture of my view from my seat earlier in the thread.
