This is trending on my Facebook, but I haven't seen it here.
What would "The Book of Mormon" look like if it were a South Park episode? Like this.

I love the cameos from familiar faces.
That video is going to get that guy in trouble. I wonder who will claim copyright infringement first. Comedy Central or the producers of The Book of Mormon?

It doesn't work that way anymore. I've worked at companies that spent thousands trying make "viral" content or get people to do it. The only thing suppressing something like this would do is make it more viral.
"Didn't the fan made video of "You and Me" get taken down? That one was animated to look like a Disney movie though. Maybe Disney had an issue with it?"
Nope, it's still up on the original creator's YT and the Book of Mormon team signal boosted her video the same they are boosting this one. She never got in any kind of trouble over it. I know because she's actually a friend of mine. She never expected it to take off, it was just a video she did for a class assignment that she uploaded to show her family and friends. Next thing she knew, Book of Mormon was signal boosting it on their facebook page rather then yelling at her to take it down.
I doubt this new fan will get in trouble either. As it's been said, viral videos like these are good publicity for the show and they didn't have to pay a dime for it. The fans did it for them. So why kill it when they can embrace the free publicity?

bwahaha ! I was just going to ask about that term, I'd never heard it before. What is is suppose to even mean? Posted? Linked?
signal boost -- 1. Posting to a community forum (mailing list, social networking site, discussion board, amateur radio) in hopes of getting more attention for an event or cause or spreading awareness of an issue. This is not the primary or first announcement, but rather one of many auxiliary posts or cross-posts to communities with individuals who are likely to take interest. Sometimes knocked by detractors for unapparent reasons - voting doesn't raise money for anything, but voting is still important. Self-Injury Awareness Day doesn't raise money for anything, but awareness is still important. The entire point of a signal boost is that if you can do something more significant to help, you do that as well as participating in the boost, but if you can't, you boost to help reach those who can. (Popularly employed on Tumblr by image-conscious bloggers who want to look like they care deeply about a cause or issue, while they try to avoid investing any time, money or effort into said cause.)
Seriously, guys, pick up an Urban Dictionary.
