Okay, didn't mean to be so bitchy but these Rent threads have just been too much the past couple of days.

I'm all for a good cause even at the cost of 1000 bucks. It'd be nice to have the tickets cheaper, though.
What if they made highlights of the benifit to add on to the RENT movie when it comes out on DVD - like in the bonus section?

And your spelling doesn't help any, either!
Look, self-importance!
I really don't think the benefit needs to be "saved." It's going to happen, even if the fans are angry.
Ugh, sit on a kettle and let it steam your ASS. Get over it, please.
It is what it is, it costs what it costs.
If you don't like it, see the regular cast. They don't have diseases that can be caught via air (that I'm aware of).
Plus, you can watch the movie over and over!
Jeez, what would happen if the OBC of Wicked came back for one night only at a high price.
I agree - get over it!
I'm so sick of seeing threads about this!

Is it just me, or does anyone else see the opportunity to release a two DVD set for both Rent the movie and Rent the Benefit Concert. Rent the Movie is opening is November 05. The benefit is in 06. I for one would pay an extra 10-15 dollars for a DVD of both the movie and the concert with the OBC. By June, July of 06 the DVD should be released of the Movie, so why not of the concert as well. I am sure they could make arrangements for some profits to go to the Charities supported by the concert . . .
Logic, unfortunatley, is not always the driving force here . . .

It's a benefit performance, people. Leave the ticket prices where they are.
And there are Tim Horton's all over my area of Connecticut. They bought out Bess Eaton, a small coffee shop chain.
