Wishing Idina the best of luck

Robbiej, with all due respect, but what has Idina's accident got to do with the terrible tragedy in Asia?

Do we all stop living and are not allowed to discuss 'minor' issues like this because of the tragedy?

I do care a lot about what happened in Asia and I've been working my ass off to raise money in the last week. So why can't I ramble on this thread for a bit without you thinking I lose perspective?

If I could raise money for the victims by throwing Idina down a trap-door I would!

I agree with you about the fact that some people seem to be a bit too worried about Idina (we all know she's going to be just fine) but any posts on this thread certainly don't disrespect any victims of this terrible tragedy in Asia.

Playbill DOESN'T KNOW JACK!

IF they were announcing that Idina WOULD go on, they would mention the incident, as all good journalists learn in JOURALISM 101.

I'm still shocked they haven't announced her injury - DO THEY NOT KNOW?

I still think there just aren't staff in the Playbill offices over the weekend. That's not the only place to get news.

Maybe Playbill is waiting for an Official Announcement? Ticketmaster has been no help to me as for refunding my ticket as they keep saying they have received no official word that she is not performing.

Cool your heels, papa. As long as the last name is not Kennedy there shouldn't be a need for anyone to lobotomize anyone.
Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.

TheGaIsSilent,

Playbill.com is a professional news media Site. If that news article was pre-written, and set to be automatically added to their Site today, then that is fine.

BUT to allegedly NOT learn about Idina's incident, but even worse STILL let that article be posted is unprofessional.

Still wondering why playbill.com hasnt updated anything??
#364

Has it officially been announced?

Ok! Enough already! It's done! Although no official announcement ahs been made, Idina WILL NOT be performing today. It would be physically impossible. It is a very demanding show and to take all those deep breaths and to those high notes would be far to painful (even if the ribs are merely bruised). Shoshana will replace her and Idina will come out for curtain call and attend the party. That's it! Nothing else to say! End this already and just appreciate the run she had! Move on Has it officially been announced?

442,

You do not know the extent of her injuries, she may still perform. YOU need to shut up and stop the rumors!

Has it officially been announced?

First of all, Idina will most definitley (110%) not be performing today...second of all CapnHook, NEVER tell me or anyone else to shut up. Got that? I think it's pathetic enough that your icon/name are about PETER PAN..hahahaha...You're the one with the problems Has it officially been announced? NOW let's end this thread.bye

this thread isnt going to end just cuz you declare it so. i think even if the admins closed it, another would open up. if you dont want to read it, hey, dont! its not hard.
#369

Has it officially been announced?

It's not a matter of me not wanting to read it..it's a matter of me KNOWING that it is unrealistic to say that she will be performing. Obviously none of you have had injuries or performed under such circumstances (as i have). I'm just informing you so you can all move on and stop beating a dead horse! no need...waste of bandwith space Has it officially been announced?

442namffug,

Well aren't you just the cutest little thing!

Although you are right in that she probably won't perform, I happen to know she still wants to, and as of an over an hour ago, they were still debating.

Secondly, yes, I WILL tell you to shut up. You have no right to spread rumors.

Your laughing at the fact that I like PETER PAN? You're the pathetic one. PETER PAN has been a popular show since 1904 - 100 years. WICKED has been popular for just over one year, and trust me, it won't last a hundred years. PETER PAN is the most revived show to Broadway. Several movies and television series were made about Barrie's stories. TV GUIDE included the 1955 Mary Martin telecast of PETER PAN in their "100 Greatest TV Moments." I didn't see anything WICKED on that list...

Criticize my love for PETER PAN? Criticize my name? What kind of name is 442namffug?

Well, in any case, congratulations 442namffug, you're an ass.

theres more to this topic than wondering if she'll perform today... there hasnt been any announcement to the extent of her injury and if it will affect her next project and some people are just wishing her well. relax.
