I'm confident Ben will win, so I'd say Rachel Bay Jones. I absolutely loved her performance and truly think out of the two frontrunners, she is most deserving. I love Jenn, but what Rachel does is breathtaking and emotionally draining. If Jenn won however, I wouldn't be mad.

Thanks bear88! I see how it could be confusing and rephrased the question.

Jane Greenwood! Come on, 50 years on Broadway, close to 200 productions, 21 nominations and zero wins? Give her a Tony already! (Plus the costumes for Little Foxes are deserving)

I SO AGREE!!! only thing is...SJB which I wouldn't be mad if she won but Rachel so deserves this.
Falsettos for best revival and Stephanie J. block for Feautured Actress, she's been such an inspiration to me for a long time and I would love to see her get the credit she deserves for her truly wonderful performance and the whole production honored for how wonderful it was.

Laura Linney. I think her Regina is the best I have seen -- and I have seen 7 or 8 -- including Bette Davis's, which was almost too visibly cold.
In as much as I love me some tasty Gavin Creel-ole, I have to go with Lucas Steele's Anat-ole. Being dedicated to that role for such a long time, an absolutely charming and nasty performance, great vocals, intense choreography and a violin! C'mon !

BEN. PLATT.
The guy gives the best performance I've ever seen in my life. I can't even fathom how great he is in Dear Evan Hansen. Karl is amazing (and I loved Cott) but nobody has ever deserved a Tony more for a role than Ben Platt.

I think Ben Platt is already a guarantee? I'd love to see Andy win because the Ben Platt nonsense is wearing thin. Great performance, yes. But Broadway has seen and will see performances that are just as good if not better. But I do agree he's great and deserves the Tony.
I NEED to see Comet/Malloy take score and orchestrations. I feel it deserves best musical too but that might be a stretch.
I'm thinking...with the amazing grosses Dolly is making...and the show is selling that well due to star power I'm sure....COULD Falsettos take revival as everyone clearly remembers it and it was critically received quite nicely and with the current country state....it could happen...Miss Saigon won't win that i know
I'd go with Jenn Colella as featured for a few reasons - 1.) Her performance is breathtaking beyond her singing voice, which is beyond amazing. 2.) She deserves it after years of being consistently better than the awful material she was handed 3.) I think she would give an amazing acceptance speech that will get attention (Kindness is an action). 4.) She's truly one of the nicest human beings and I just can't help myself but root for her. 5). She deserves more attention and someone to write her a starring vehicle.

ethan231h, I've been wondering if Falsettos will take revival too! Maybe!

It's be nice to see her win...but I don't think this is her year. She will get her starring role eventually.

As much as I've been hoping and crossing my fingers that there will be some upset of biblical proportions, it's safe to say that it would be impossible ![]()

If she would win it, I think she'd deserve it, but I don't think it's happening either. One can wish - but she is getting older so starring roles won't come as easily.
