One performance and/or production of this entire season is yours to nominate. What would you choose/why?
If you could choose ONE production and/or performance to get a Tony nod, what would it be?

TACT's production of The Cocktail Party, if I can literally pick anything I saw.

Christiane Noll, Ragtime.
I would say Bobby Steggert for the same production, but it seems strange that the night I saw Ragtime I was positive that she would be the favorite around this time. At the stage door I even told Noll to get used to the words "Tony for Best Actress in a Musical". Yet due to a strange season and the show closing a while back, I'm not even sure she will score a nomination. The same goes for Bobby Steggert, who clearly had less of a role, and yet acted the crap out of every scene he was in.

I saw posters above me nominating Les Salonga and The Cocktail Party so I thought we could nominate anything.

Gator -- since it's all hypothetical...of course you can. I was really just checking my memory more than anything else!

No worries Mama...I was totally drawn in to Bobby's performance in Ragtime too. I went to the closing performance and he was the highlight for me.

I picked The Cocktail Party not only because it was a great production, but also because I figured other people would say Kate Baldwin and Finian's Rainbow. :)

Alfred Molina in RED because I cannot stop thinking about his performance. Enthralling, intriguing, yet very human.

Valerie Harper in LOOPED. Regardless of how you feel about the writing, she was giving 120% and nailed that role.
