Tried searching for a thread on this but no luck. Personally , Brodway flops have always fascinated me. I would revive American Psycho. I thought it was an amazing time in the theatre.
What are your thoughts? What would you revive?

What are you defining as a flop, before I answer?
- didn't recoup?
-played less than X number of performances?
- critical miss?

I would say a critical miss or only lasting a few months on broadway.

Goldilocks with a revised book.

Posted: 3/28/18 at 9:43pmI’d love a revival of the original Side Show before the changes. And I’d be thrilled to see a production of The Life. But more than anything, I’d love to see Caroline, or Change come back because I missed it the first time and have listened to the recording so many times that I desperately want to see a production.

Merrily We Roll Along. I stand by my assertion that this was Sondheim's strongest score.

As I'm listening to my b**tleg recording of American Psycho right now I am inclined to agree. Good thing the rights are coming out any day now.

Dance of the Vampires, but this time stay more true to the original in adaptation and don't like Crawford come within a thousand feet of the production at any point in time... or American Psycho.
