I am so here for this! I feel like she is such a specific type however, so it's hard for me to dream cast her. Of course, she could always do something brand new but for the fun of it, are there any classic roles she could do?
(Side note: apparently when Legally Blonde was opening in the West End she was invited to audition for Paulette but turned them down as she felt she didn't need to audition)
Don’t know why, and we certainly don’t need more productions of it, but Virginia Woolf did come to mind.

God, I would have loved her in Hello, Dolly!
Does she sing?
I’ll go see anything she does so i hope she’s able to find something soon do!

I wouldn’t even care. Would have happily watched her talk-sing her way through a score like Dolly.
Seriously. She could not sing or sing forever. And still find things to not sing about.

Also, i still want to see her in a Mae West bio.

Brilliant! A+!
I'm not really sure what role she'd play either, but I feel like she's the kind of actor who can bring her style to whatever she does and make it interesting in her own way. Imagine her Mary Tyrone, her Amanda Wingfield, her Martha, her Blance DuBois (she's probably a bit too old for Blanche but I'd sure as hell pay to see it). She could do also Samuel Becket's Happy Days.
As a side-note, I always find it a bit funny whenever we get these articles about famous actors expressing "interest" in doing stage work. My first thought is often - "great, well why don't you?" You're famous and you surely have a good agent, so what's stopping you?
I'm being slightly facetious - I know life gets in the way, especially when you're a busy actor living across the country. I just think it's funny that we always get these headlines like "[super famous actor] want to be onstage!" and meanwhile there's a high demand for celebrities onstage - so where's the missing link here? They never say "I want to do stage work BUT..."
She could be a killer Mattie Fae. I wonder if Jean Smart could be tapped for Violet in this imaginary production I just came up with
^Jean Smart as Violet would be everything. Imagine Delta Burke as Mattie Fae.
Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

She’s already done 2 plays on Broadway. She mentions she would love to RETURN to Broadway in another play in the very near future.

Yes I’m aware! Everything I said still applies. I was speaking generally about famous actors who say they want to do stage work in the future (regardless of whether they’ve done it before or not).

Ahh didnt know about this!! To be honest, if Cinderella (transferred over from the West End), I feel like she'd do great.
What role in “Cinderella” do you think she’s good for?

I was thinking the Queen or the Stepmother. I feel like the Queen would be such a fun role for Jennifer and it reminds me a bit of Legally Blonde. Or the Stepmother since she literally did play The Stepmother in A Cinderella Story (which is ironically also a modern retelling of the story).

Yes. Opposite Patton Oswalt with Jonathan Groff and Kimiko Glenn.

Wow, I sort of can't tell if this is a joke suggestion, but also I like of love it? I don't love the idea of Groff as Nick, but the rest are fascinating. It makes me think of Robin Williams and Steve Martin doing "Godot." Both plays have a ton of humor in them, but they're usually performed by actors known for doing heavy-hitting drama. So what happens if you cast people who will bring the comedy to the forefront, and let the text do the dramatic work on its own? How does that change the pacing, and the timber of the play? How does that change the relationship with the audience? Wish I could see it done. I feel like the closest thing to that I've seen was Keegan-Michael Key as Horatio in Hamlet.
Jennifer Coolidge IS Violet Weston in August: Osage County.
It's gotta be a revival of The Goat.
