I just found out Jeremy Jordon has a concert Thursday night yet the understudy website and the great Gatsby website does not show that he’s out on Thursday.
yet I have tickets for Thursday, and this happened to me last year when he was in it originally I tried twice, and on both occasions he was out
Then I was talking to somebody else who said they heard he was out Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday why isn’t this Advertise anywhere!

His band's tour website shows concert dates Nov. 20-22. You definitely think notice would be posted.

Are you able to stop by the box office and ask?
Where is his concert supposed to be?

it’s very obvious he’s not gonna be there because he’s playing with his band yet. They advertise that he’s back in the show. They’re promoting it big time, but they’re not being transparent that he’s not in it those days on their website
I just find the whole thing to be crooked and I know his name is not above the title but look at the publicity machine that is going around that he’s coming back if he was not in it this week half those seats would be empty yet I just went online and most of the shows that weekend are sold out
Understudies.com does
Understudies.org doesn't have it posted yet because we haven't been informed of who's going on for Jordan those dates.

I just think it’s wrong that the show knows it but they’re not posting that he’s not in those days I’m just tired of this always happening, especially when they could be proactive
Telecharge doesn't have a listed absence for these dates, which is unusual for a preplanned absence of a star.
Telecharge does have it listed under the "About The Show" section.
It’s been posted on Telecharge for months therefore legally they’re protected.
I think what Kad is referring to (which i find odd, as well) is that those dates don’t have a “!” Next to them in the calendar that lets you know explicitly before booking that he will not be on.

It’s not just a date or two but many, it’s should say JeremyJordan on selected dates. I have four tickets for next Sunday :( It should be on the page when you’re buying tickets , they are selling the show on him at this point. When I saw his band was playing next weekend, I found the notice buried at the bottom of about the show page on Telecharge. There are going to be a lot of disappointed fans , that could have known this fact at point of purchase. Has anyone seen the understudy?

Yes, that's what I was referring to- and when clicking on one of those dates to purchase, there are no notes about it. They may be technically covered by including it in the About the Show section, but that is an extremely easy piece of information to miss because you have to actually click on "About the Show" to bring it up and I would imagine many people have no reason to do so because they know what the show is.

The show is the selling point, not Jordan. Yes, I'm well aware that 90% of people are buying tickets to see him, not the show. But the point is, by not putting him above the title, they're saying the show is what they're selling. Therefore, they have zero obligation to advertise when an understudy will be on and from a marketing standpoint are smart not to. That's the tradeoff--they don't get to advertise him above the title, but they also don't have to say when he's out. I completely understand how disappointing it is, but I can't fault the production at all for doing this.

He obviously came back on his terms because the show needed him and he's a draw. It seems like they gave him every date he wanted off. But, looking at all the dates he will be out for several different reasons (Nov 20 - 23; Nov 28 - 30; Dec 5 - 7; Dec 24 - 27; Feb 4 - 9, 2026; Feb 26 - Mar 2; Mar 8 - 9; and Mar 13 - 15) does feel like it should say "selected dates". The show should be more transparent about that, in my opinion.
