are my 3 favorite actresses and I'd love to see them back on Broadway.
Who would you LOVE to see back on Broadway?

Damn, I thought this was a Carnac thread.
Anyway, the person I'd like to see back on Broadway is Rachel York.

Ooh, agreed with Judy Kuhn. I like her.
I want more Doug Sills, Sean Palmer, Michael Ball, Hugh Panaro, and Tim Curry. And honestly, I'd like to see James Barbour again, too. Hey, let's just stick them all in the same musical... pop them in 1776 or something. That'd be fun.

What about Brooke Shields? Oh my god. She was brilliant in WONDERFUL TOWN. So much better than Donna Murphy. Like, oh my god. Amazing.
...and Tamyra Gray in BOMBAY DREAMS...now that's what Broadway is all about!!!

Posted: 8/27/09 at 1:49pmI know Julie won't sing anymore but I wonder if she has any interest at all in coming back in a play. It would be so wonderful to see her on stage again, she has to know we miss her!

Linda Eder, Douglas Sills, Christiane Noll, Coleen Sexton & Judy Kuhn!
Re: Sills: He has expressed serious interest in coming back to Broadway/theatre, and got as close as the 2006 West End production of Frank Wildhorn's Cyrano de Bergerac, that was canceled for whatever reasons. He has been working in Los Angeles with his family's business, which while I don't know what it is, has apparently ate a lot of his time. Very intelligent guy, don't forget he was going to be a lawyer until he got the Pimpernel job!
I'm sure with the Wildhorn & Friends concert series it'll give him another big boost - that series played on Broadway with Sills back in 2002, so maybe it will come back
.
Edit: Apparently Noll will be back on Broadway this fall!

Posted: 8/27/09 at 3:21pmYou know, it's funny, I love Ron Bohmer, but I was thinking that if he didn't transfer with the company of Ragtime, Douglas Sills would be fantastic as Father. I didn't realize until just now that they were both Sir Percy Blakeney...

Bohmer, unfortunately had NOTHING on Sills. Bohmer wasn't horrible, but no where near as good as Sills, which I'm sure hindered his performance because Sills was that good!
