Sorry, but "approximately 2 hours" (which usually means more like 2h 20mins) is just too damn long to sit in an uncomfortable theatre seat-- especially for Shakespeare.
"
When I saw this in London, my memory is it was closer to 1:50 than 2 hours.
Other than the under 30 seats, I didn't expect there to be other seats available for that cheap. Crazy when anything under $100 feels like a bargain nowadays.

Are under 30 year olds allowed to bring one companion of any age?
Guests must be under 30, as well.

I could not agree more. Astonishing is the perfect word for his performance. But everyone was great in their parts. I also think Simon Godwin is the best director of Shakespeare working today.
I got a decent seat for $79 plus the ridiculous $9 "online fee."
Bump.
Anyone see this yet?
I found this a total slog to sit through.

I've been trying to decide whether to see this because it seems like a cool opportunity to see Kenneth Branagh, but the reviews/word of mouth are not encouraging and it sounds like it would just be a slog to sit through.
I went to see him but the amateur acting and the lack of intermission/incredibly uncomfortable seats made this two hours feel like five.

I just don’t have it in me for this…as it is, I have McNeal tomorrow. Going to take the L tonight and enjoy some lovely margaritas at Ofrenda instead 😀
