It's definitely not a musical, but I do wonder if they might still find some sort of an excuse to still have her sing. A lullaby, a love song, or a performance of some kind. Plenty of plays have a done it.

What exactly would you consider a reasonable price for tickets for the Broadway debut of a Golden Globe winning actress?
I mean, a recent Oscar winner's show went on sale today, and it was around $100-300. Golden Globes don't mean nearly as much. These two definitely have big followings, but their audience is young people and that's not your typical Broadway-going audience, so I can't see them demanding crazier prices. I'd guess $50-$250.

To add on to this, I looked up Kit Connor after this production was announced and he's apparently incredibly popular (has triple the amount of Instagram followers that Rachel has) and he won an Emmy.
That being said, I'm not expecting the prices to be insane.
Another email came this evening that says that an exclusive presale code will be released at 10 am Eastern, and then there will be only 24 hours to use it.

I think comparing awards is missing the mark here. These two actors have created INCREDIBLY strong fan bases. There are certainly mixed results with things beloved by younger fans. But, I think the combination of the Heartstopper/Kit fandom, Hunger Games/Rachel fandom, the fact that it's a commercial and not non-profit production, and the fact that it's in a significantly smaller theater will result in comparable, if not higher, prices to McNeal.

I acknowledged that they have big fanbases, but I stand by my $50-250. We’ll see.
this is also the most over-produced play in the modern world, these two do not have universal appeal and the prices if they are smart need to be reasonible to the average consumer, not just diehard fans of Kit and Rachel because honestly we are likely going to have have two productions of this show on Broadway this season

Zelger & Connor probably signed so many NDAs and contracts about when to market and advertise this production on their social media

Reactions to Lloyd's new production are EXTREMELY mixed, so far with a lot of people pointing out that this is him just running through his old playbook with absolutely nothing new to show here, so I wouldn't put money on that transferring just yet.
Simply on aesthetic terms, it's interesting to note the Holland/Lloyd version's art is emphasizing the violence and tragedy while this version (as seen above) is emphasizing the romance.
I think some people are underestimating Kits appeal, and possibly over estimating Rachel's a bit. But they will be a popular pairing, and there are a lot of mummy's and daddy's out there who will fork out for tickets for the kids to see their idols.
Plus Kit especially has an adult following too.
Considering the quite muted response to romeo and juliet in the UK I wonder if a transfer will happen. Although I guess its critic and word of mouth proof anyway. And Tom's fans will rave about it anyway.
