If I can’t have Whoopi then I’m MORE than ok with Beverly Knight, one of all-time my favorite voices.
This sounds like so much fun - I'll be missing it by just a few weeks.  Looking forward to you hear what you think.
Saw the original production in London with Patina Miller and just had a blast.

I think this is a fantastic musical! But Settle seems wasted right?

Completely. Like this is a step down from her role in WAITRESS 6 years ago, which was at least an original Bway musical by high-profile artists. Sister Act pays the bills I guess?

Keala makes her west-end debut as Nurse in &Juliet later this month. A pretty big fun role..
Feels like she will be stepping down for Sister Act..

Does seem odd given how short the run is too.
I wonder if they're still planning to film it.
I passionately agree that Keala Settle is wasted in this role. But this is a high profile and very limited run that will go on tour with new leads so I suspect she is only doing the London dates as it’ll fit in around her TV show she’s doing.
