Beverley Knight joins the sisterhood as Disco diva in disguise, Deloris Van Cartier. Comedy legend Jennifer Saunders takes up the habit as Mother Superior alongside an all-star cast, featuring Greatest Showmanand Tony® Award-nominated actress Keala Settle, television and stage star Lesley Joseph, Hackney royalty and Olivier Award-winner Clive Rowe and Hairspray’s rising star Lizzie Bea.

Saw the original production in London with Patina Miller and just had a blast.

Completely. Like this is a step down from her role in WAITRESS 6 years ago, which was at least an original Bway musical by high-profile artists. Sister Act pays the bills I guess?

Does seem odd given how short the run is too.

I passionately agree that Keala Settle is wasted in this role. But this is a high profile and very limited run that will go on tour with new leads so I suspect she is only doing the London dates as it’ll fit in around her TV show she’s doing.
