I hope LCT records this in return for not recording the Broadway run.
My interest in this just skyrocketed.

I think they meant more in the line of it being professionally filmed.

Yes!!!
This is fantastic. I'll be purchasing extra tickets to my season ticket package now to see it multiple times.
Ah, yes. This absolutely deserves to be professionally filmed!! I completely agree.
Great casting. I really enjoyed Jose Llana as the King and Laura Michelle Kelly is lovely.
No offense to LMK, but couldn't they have gotten an American actress for this? It seems like we constantly bring Brits over, and there's no upside for American actors?

You realize all that book or mormon has been doing is bringing all Americans to the London production. Also isn't Laura an American citizen now or lives full time in the US?

American actors star in the west end too. Michael C Hall is going over in Lazarus. Amber Reilly- DreamGirls. Aaron Tveit - assassins.
jonathan groff- death trap. The list goes on.

Meanwhile, people on the UK boards are complaining about the # of American actors appearing over there.

I would argue there are more Americans who have played/are playing in the UK and west end than Brits in the us.

I'm not arguing with you. My post was ironic.

Of course...Anna is British.
Love LMK - I am happy she is staying here to contribute to American' theater.
Oh God! I need to see it again!!
I'm very happy to hear about this casting!
Does anyone know if they will have an Anna standby and who that will be?
I'm happy to have an actual Brit playing Anna. No offense to the lovely Kelli O'Hara, but that "accent" was... well, "A" for effort, Kelli, "A" for effort.

I am so excited to see Laura Michelle in this role and excited to see Jose Llana again as he was fantastic on Broadway.
Wow! Beautiful casting. Very excited to see this.

After loosing my chance to see the fantastic Marrin Mazzie alongside Daniel Dae Kim, I will not be queuing to see a probably scaled down version of this production. It is being produced by Networks and their tours are always scaled down presentations.
LMK already played Anna at the Muny https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zp0gUMykOO4 She sounds ok.
Just saying she played a lead here on Broadway for over a year and is now playing one on the road. And we bring over way more full-cast British productions. When was the last time a full-American cast did a show in the West End?
