I wasn't crazy about her performance but yes, it was much better than Christina's. ABC News has already posted a link to Gawker showing how she messed up.

Lea Michelle concerned me because I thought she was singing as Rachel Berry.

also there really is no comparison between xtina and lea. two COMPLETELY different singing leagues/ability. one filet mignon and the other is ground beef. on a good day christina is quite skilled. a good day for lea is well.. nothing without pro tools.

yes they both botched the perfs but thats really the only common link. btw.. im not a christina fan.

I thought Lea did well considering she sang live which is not normal for the super bowl. I was more underwhelmed by the arrangement of the song and the cheesey chorus. The arrangement did nothing for her vocally though she still sounded great. Better than CA any day of the week. And I'm not and super fan of Lea but I think she is talented

Lea gets no points for the fact that she sang live. thats what she is SUPPOSED to be able to do and do WELL. VERY WELL. she didnt.

and Kalimba i agree with u. they are BOTH over rated.

I just watched it....I dont think she sounds nearly as bad as many on here are putting it. I was more offended by the crappy arrangement of the song. She had a few iffy pitch moments, but overall I think she was pretty good. Especially since she did it LIVE, which as others pointed out is a rarity. IMO, it sort of made up for the atrocity that sang the Anthem.

Like i said before Lea gets NO points for singing LIVE. she prides herself on being a singer so thats what she is SUPPOSED to be able to do and do WELL live or otherwise! clearly she got that gig based on her name recognition and not her singing ability or evidently lack there of.

SHOCKING!! SHOCKING I TELL YOU!! That's never been done before!!

I can't imagine why Fox, the network airing the Super Bowl, would want one of the stars of its highest rated comedy (an episode of which is airing immediately following the game) to sing before the Super Bowl, in front of 65 million plus viewers.
