When I was out of work between shows I sold merch.tore door tickets sold lollies/chochs and flirted like mad with any young spunk that caught my eye and was occassionally successful. I ALWAYS had to make the first move but not to be the 'party pooper' here, go for it. I'm all for 'take a chance'.

Actually, I think you need to bite the bullet. I second the handing him a card route if you can't talk to him. It makes me sad that so many people feel shame over expressing their feelings and dealing with the truth. Anyone I have expressed interest in has always been flattered-its a nice thing to hear. Im sure he'd love it. If he is not available or not interested, wouldn't you sleep better knowing you shared your truth and now have your answers rather than all this expended energy on message boards.

I once had a friend who was so turned off by the theatrics of someone interested in him, he was more annoyed than impressed. He assumed they had low self esteem since they wouldn't speak to him and felt he dodged a bullet. Confidence about your feelings goes a long way.

So I recently visited Big Gay Ice Cream & talked a little to a very cute guy there. I never do stuff like this, but I wrote down my number before I left and handed it to him. It was super awkward but he texted me! It turns out I'm like 6 years older so we didn't end up hanging out, but it felt really liberating to just do it. So just do it.

As Jane2 said it's not about us it's about the OP BUT, all stories prompt distant personal memories--the best I ever did--smiled at a guy in another car-he smiled back-remembered his number plate-gave to a friend of a friend who works in motor rego.-got me his contact details[all not proper]-rang him-dated for 2 years. Let's hear other stories while we wait breathlessly for the OPs success [or not].

Nbd guys, but it is very possible that, thanks to one of you here who read this and messaged me, that Les Miz Merch Guy may have read or will read this thread, as he was, I am told, alerted to its existence by my source who was a friend of les Miz merch guys boss... Nbd. So this is either a great development, or an unsettling turn of events, I'm cautiously optimistic. Stay tuned...

Ok guys, so thanks to the powers that be, and the kindness of people on here, Les Miz merch guy found me. He sent me a very nice personal message and was thankfully not creeped out by the lengths I went to find him, in fact he was flattered and thought it was cute. The message also included a phone number and plans to meet for coffee, while I'm in the city tomorrow, before I see Holler if ya Hear Me. I hope you guys find this satisfying, and thanks again to everyone here, you made this all happen. You're the best!
