Would you see a film adaptation of Light in the Piazza starring Renee Fleming and Dove Cameron if it happened?
I'd rather Dove Cameron never touches this show ever again.

Although I can't call myself a fan of Ms. Cameron, I saw her in Piazza. My God, she was stunning. She should use that shining soprano voice more often.
It depends. Will we get to see her being kicked in the head by the pony? Because if we do, then yes.

Would I see it? Of course, I love LITP. But that's a tough adaptation, I don't know if it'd be any good.

Having seen Victoria Clark truly inhabit the role, I just never took to Fleming even though she was fine. Something about the character did not sit well on her as an actor.

Well, Clark has an advantage because she has a legitimate southern accent (albeit a mix of Texas and Carolina).

Not even if they agreed to come and perform it for me in my living room.
I actually think this could work be somewhat successful as a quaint artsy film? Could be made cheaply. Filmed on location in Italy with the cast of the most recent stage production. Not sure who would be better as Signor, Alex Jennings or Brian Stokes Mitchell.

If it stars Sierra Boggess and Rachel Zegler in the lead roles, then yes I would pay full price.
