Posted: 7/27/04 at 1:57pmI'm going to audition for Audrey in Little Shop in roughly two weeks, but I'm not entirely sure what kind of piece I should do for it. My voice teacher gave me several options, but do any of you have suggestions?

Posted: 7/27/04 at 2:00pmOne of Audrey's numbers is "Somewhere That's Green." It is peaceful, sweet, hopeful and gentle number. Try looking at songs that give off the same moods.

Posted: 7/27/04 at 2:30pmSomething that shows that you can sing up in the scale as well as low... probably something that is also fun, so you can play up the comedy. I can't think of any songs at the moment though, lol, I'm no help.

This is probably bad advice, but I have always though of Audrey and Adelaide as very similar.
So maybe 'Adelaides Lament' from GUYS AND DOLLS?
