Joberg was a looooooovely Sammy. He plays the role very different from Matthew, which I like. His voice is fantastic, and he's adorably dopey. He also had EXCELLENT chemistry with Cara Cooper, who was on for Amy that day. I saw Cara and Matthew on wEdnesday, and found myself wishing Joberg had been on.

And aww!! That makes me feel all warm and squishy. I adore Matthew, I do, but I think I'm in a love/hate relationship with the guy, heh. And from what I've heard of Joberg's Sammy.. his voice is prettier :x

Okay, obviously this show is going to be an understudies work better with other understudies sort of thing. Except people say Tina and Stephen have more chemistry together, but... I wouldn't know. Considering I've never seen Tina.

Um, almost everything that comes out of Sammy's mouth is comedic genius, IMO. So a lot of his lines.

Holly: The last guy I went out with was Sammy. The only thing he ever go tme was an "I'm with stupid" t-shirt. It was then I realized: I was with stupid.
Sammy: Did I hear my name mentioned? We've been broken up for 6 months and you still can't stop talking about old Sammy. How about I buy you a drink?
Holly: They're free, jackass.
Sammy:You know, your lips are saying no, but your eyes... yeah, they're pretty much saying no too.

^DUDE, one of my VERY favorite parts of the whole show seriously, amy has the most unbelievably hilarious comedic timing durring that part. And so does matt :P

See, I'd heard the cookie bit had been cut when the show opened, but I guess they put it back in. :p

I do have to say though, I'm going to miss Stephen saying the "let's see if this registers - you're picking out CRAP!" line. He may not think it's funny, but I sure do.

The line never taken out - the bit that was changed is that when Julia comes out to the dumpster after Casualty of Love, she's only holding a glass of water. Originally, she really did bring him water and a cookie. They also cut when she pushed him back into the dumpster at the end of "Come Out of the Dumpster." Which makes me sad, because that was funny. Heh.

Ooooh. See, this is what I get for not having seen the show since previews. Kinda weird to think that the show has been opened for a good 3 months now and my first time seeing the finished product will be in two weeks! Haha.
