Yeah, I understood completely later, but since all we saw was a big group of people walk in, my parents and a bunch of the people around us were all like "Um, could they wait until after the song is over?"
I totally got a bit star-struck. Oh, man..
Antonio uses that to his advantage. He flashes you "the look" and gives you a bit of the accent, and then the next thing you know, your Slut button is missing.

DAMN YOU FOR STEALING THE SLUT BUTTON, ANTONIO! *shakes fist in rage* Haha. Oh, the accent... I still find it hilarious how we weren't like "omg it's Zorro" or "omg it's Armand" when he spoke but "OMG PUSS IN BOOTS!" ...Banderas has ruined himself now for doing that movie, I think.
Well, the movie was a success, so I don't think he ruined himself. But I will never NOT think of Puss In Boots when I hear him.
Your signature also has that damn song stuck in my head now. *frolicks around* Oooooh, Louuuuisooooon. *snort*
...wow, we took this completely off-topic, didn't we?
I listened to that song (just the one minute singsongy part of the beginning) for like an hour this afternoon. Better than crack....

TDF should put The Wedding Singer back on it's list.
I'm back! The show was awesome, as usuall. Matt was on as Glen. He was good, although he's a bit of a weaker singer (and looks absolutely RIDICULOUS in that wig). I had the front row center seat, so I was sufficiently glittered. That was fun. I think I got it all off.
There were two really annnoying people sitting next to me (If you're here, you know who you are. I'm sorry, but you were annoying).
I'll be back with a more coherent review shortly.

oh, well, 7 is my lucky number!
and guess what everyone? okay, so a few weeks back i sent letters out to Felicia, Amy, and Tracee. so, as you know, i got something back from Felicia on Saturday. well, today i got something back from Amy! it was another sucky-quality picture of her at Broadway on Broadway, and just says "Patrick! xo, Amy Spanger"
and i promise i will post a picture within the next 24 hrs (i need to find my sister's camera!)
but yeah, now just waiting on Tracee, but im very happy right now! of all of them, i least expected Amy to send something back
:)
okay, that's all i got to say
That's exciting!
Amy never wrote back to me. But I forgot to send a SASE so I think that might be why? Oh well.
Review time! There's not too much I can say, but I'll try.
Like I said before, Matt Stocke was on as Glen. He was very good, definitely got the jerkiness down (THAT was weird to see). His voice is good, though not as strong as Richard's. After "Not That Kind of Thing," during the whole bit about the junk bonds, he got pretty angry when he corrected Tina, and she just kind of went "Whoa... sorry." I have no complaints about Matt. What he lacked in the vocal department, he made up for it in everything else.
Angelique Ilo was on for J. Elaine marcos. I find her very boring. Kevin Kern covered Matt's track. He was very funny as Billy Idol.
The rest of the cast was spot on. Stephen was his usual crazy self. Felicia was hysterical, as is to be expected. When she bent down right before "you should've been in motley Crue," she made a REALLY scary face. Quite frightening. Tina was her usual fantastic self. Kevin Cahoon is just... Kevin Cahoon. He doesn't need explanation.
I realized today that I'm going to really miss Matt Saldivar while he's gone. I just can't picture Constantine coming close to that.
Okay, I'm done. :oP
Cute review! Glad you had fun. Did you stay after to stagedoor?

nice review!!!
how was the stage door?
and, sorry, but did Matt actually get mad at Tina, like did she mess up a line or something?
sorry, just wondering...
:)
no no no he didn't actually get mad at Tina. When she says "Wow, you're like an expert in junk bonds," he corrects her by telling her that they're "High yield dead instruments." He just said it really angry.
I did stagedoor, not many people came out because they were throwing Tina a birthday party backstage. I got Stephen, Kevin. Matt Saldivar, Tina, and Amy. lots of fun.

oh, well, im glad he wasnt mad at Tina
it was her birthday after all
:)
Since you asked about the stagedoor, I do have a story. Kevin came over and said hi and whatever, and then left. He came back a little while after though, and the following happened:
Kevin: "Are you on my e-mail list?"
Me: "No..."
Kevin: "OH! You've gotta get on my email list." *gives me a little playbill insert to write my e-mail address on*
Me: *writing* "Do you want paper? I have real paper"
Kevin: "Oh no, this is fine." *waits, takes the paper from me* "That was nice of you, to offer me paper. You're so sweet."
Me: "I have really bad handwriting (I do!). Can you read that?"
Kevin: "Dancing...thru... life? at gmail.com?"
Me: "Yes!" *laughs*
I'm probably the only one who finds that funny.
