Haha, that part in 'Right in Front of your Eyes" is one of my favorite parts in the show. Yay Amy.

"Tina as drunk!Julia gets crazier and crazier. I don't think anything she said actually came out as real words last night. It was really funny."
You may recall that Sophie is supposed to get drunk during Voulez-Vous in Mamma Mia! Tina was always great during that scene too! So, she's had a lotta practice being a bride and a drunk! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

My wife and I went to the show last Saturday evening. We hadn't seen Wedding SInger before and she wanted to go to see Constantine. We both knew he could sing but believe me the dude can act too. He was funny as hell. We enjoyed the whole cast expecially George, Linda and the old lady whatever her name is. And Sammy too.

I went for the third time last night (thank God for student rush) and it was a great time as always! I was prepared to see Kevin on as Robbie, but was surprised when Stephen came out. I guess since Kevin was on for Bway on Bway, I assumed he would be in. The audience was a little dead, but it was a great time nonetheless. I wasn't wowed by Tina Maddigan; I'm more of a fan of Laura's Julia. I like both Laura's acting and singing better...did they bring down "Someday" into Tina's range? Just wondering...
As always, everyone was super friendly at the stage door, especially Tina, Felicia, and Stephen.
YAY!

Tina is AMAZING, may she be Linda FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tina Maddigan, who plays Sophie in the biggest role of her young career, remembers "bouncing on the sofa as a child at home in Newfoundland, listening to ABBA records." GO TINA!!

I'd pay good money to see Tina as Linda. She's certainly crazy enough to pull it off.
So just throwing this out there, but what are people's thoughts on holding places for friends in the rush line? Is it fair to get there early, hold a spot for your friend who's at work or something, and then have them swoop in at 9:59 to get tickets when there are other people behind you?

It wouldn't go over well with people who have been sitting there for hours. Either buy her one with your ID if you are only buying for yourself or find someone to sit for her and buy it cause if I was there and someone did that I'd be pissed

Do you mean are you saving the spot for your friend with your OWN physical self, or sitting in rush line for your own ticket and saying your friend is meeting up with you to get tickets? If that's the case, what Maggie said ... say you're getting two tickets and when she shows up, people will know who you were talking. Of course, if you buy a ticket and she ends up buying two when she gets there... there's really nothing anyone behind you guys can do.

If there isn't any cutting involved, I wouldn't care. If you were waiting for 2 tickets, and then someone else buys those same 2 tickets who cares? However, if you were going to get 2, then your friend came and met you and got 2 also, I would murder you.

That happened to me once when I went with my mom to the show. With several groups of people. We were pissed.

Haha, Tina as Linda? Isn't she too kind hearted for that kind of a role?
I love everyone's avatars. I need a new one, but Barrett's face is just too cute! ( sorry, not trying to threadjack! :] )

Tina IS too sweet for the role, but she's just that crazy that she might be able to pull it off.
[Barrett is ADORABLE. The end.]
