It is a 90% asian cast, which is great and 2 lead robot roles that look like a mixed race couple in the way it has been cast so far. 99% of the audience thinks Criss is white too. That's all there is to it. You have absolutely no right to scream and complain that it's only a 90% asian cast and stop cheering when it's not a 100% asian cast. That's malicious.

Or did they only say “Yay the show won Tonys and people now know Darren is Asian so I have a connection to this show now! *I* have finally been given my place because of this show!” Because the show never owed them anything, and if they didn’t support the show it owed them even less.

And if you insist Wayman, we can just eradicate Miss Saigon altogether. And then where will all that work be for Asian actors? It’ll be Miss Sai-GONE.

Conversely, I don’t want to miss anything anyone shares because everyone has the right to express their opinion. Plus, even if people sometimes say things I don’t agree with, they often share interesting news or thoughts that I value. It would be a disservice to myself to put up a wall against that.

We live in dark and dangerous times indeed, where white people have to hide because of their race. Even when they are cast in roles of which the casting description says "All ethnicities". As soon as it happens the attacks begin. The other way around is all great and amazing.

I am partly Asian and I think it is very evil that you keep demanding that we stay victims.You truly see us as inferior. Equal treatment will be very difficult then.
