truly hilarious, They essentially hid in the box office and you couldn't take photos of them or anything.

He’s 80. There’s a Covid surge. What really would have been ridiculous would have been if he let fans hug and breathe all over him while taking selfies.

I mean. They wrote an original serious show, not based on a movie, with an original score, not their pop hits, that received a New York Times Critics Pix.
Now they are standing in the box office promoting it, and Broadway in general. Hundreds of people showed up and lots of TV crew and media - AND YET........
This still isn't good enough. You can't win!!!!

Yeah, all of whom are tested for Covid regularly. The more you try to make this event look like it was executed to cheat the public out of a hug and kiss from Barry Manilow, the dumber and more selfish you appear. Do yourself a favor, and stop typing.
Received their mailer yesterday and they've broken ticketing down to ECONOMY, REGULAR, VIP, and PREMIUM, with the below perks corresponding with a few of the levels. Three different codes.
- "Regular" (from $114) gets you what they call a "regular" orchestra seat (far far sides) or mezz seat, 10% off a parking garage and 10% off merch.
- "VIP" (from $155) gets you a "prime orchestra seat" in the side orch, rear center orch, and front mezz. Plus "a free drink or snack" (assuming non-alcoholic), a free souvenir program, 10% off parking and merch, and a "VIP Concierge Greeting." Minimum 2 tix per order. That's a lot of perks & a decent deal for people who care about things like snacks and a souvenir book. Usually offering all that doesn't move sales and just becomes a hassle for the production to fulfill, but maybe will help encourage bridge & tunnel buyers.
- PREMIUM seats are through orch Row J at typical premium prices/locations, with no perks or VIP handshake.
Design-wise it's one of the busiest mailers I've seen in a long time, including 3 CRITIC'S PICK logos and 3 prominent callouts that this is a TRUE STORY.
Whatever sells!

Received Harmony mailer today - it is one of the best I have ever seen.
Highlighting their New York Times CRITIC'S PICK 3 times and emphasizing that it is a TRUE STORY is genius.
Whoever designed it, is great. Really makes you want to see the show.

True and Harmony seems to be getting better press-marketing-advertising then any other show that's opening this fall.

Give me a break you do realize these productions stopped regular testing in the spring right? Look at Davenports other show that is running right now, so many COVID cases the associate director had to go on this past weekend

They are charming together.
Friends who attended press day said the show looks great.
Plus, I'm hearing the press turn out was MASSIVE - old school number of TV crews, print journalist and online folks.
Remember, when theatre would get all this wonderful attention?

And how do you think they knew those actors who had to call out had Covid? Oh, yeah, because they were TESTED. You really need to learn when to stop.
